Courteney Cox: (on her marriage) I'm shocked by people getting divorced all the time; that's why I choose to work on it. Therapy helps us. It's so easy to grow apart. Marriage takes work. I suppose you can work it out by talking to each other - I'd just prefer to have a referee. It reminds us why we're together.

Couretney Cox: Honesty is the key to a relationship. If you can fake that, you're in!

Courteney Cox: People who read a magazine can look at the picture and go, 'She looks great for over 40!' But guess what? That's not what I look like. Lighting is everything. When you're in your car and you look in the mirror and the sun's beaming in, you're like, 'Wow, times are getting tough.

Courteney Cox: My father, when you were with him, gave you so much attention. It might only last for a minute, but for that minute you felt like you were the greatest thing that ever hit the earth. But then he was gone. I used to go, 'Dad, watch me jump off the diving board. I can do a flip. Watch!' and I'd start to do it, and by the time you were at the end of the diving board, he'd be looking the other way. And I'd be like, 'Dad, I'm gonna do it again,' 'cause I didn't want the time with my father to be over. I wanted to keep going.

Courteney Cox: If you wear lipstick and pluck your eyebrows, you could wear nothing else.

Courteney Cox: Friends changed my life in so many ways. It gave me opportunity. It gave me freedom. It gave me a family of close friends with whom I've grown up. It taught me about comedy. It taught me about relationships. It taught me about everything.

Courteney Cox: (in 2008, at age 44) I do want another child, yes, but I don't know how to achieve that at my age.

Courteney Cox: (after giving birth to her daughter Coco) I haven't been able to spend as much time with friends, because I like to be with my daughter, and they get annoyed at first, but then they actually see her, and they're like, "Oh, okay."

Courteney Cox: I have issues with getting older, sure. There are huge changes in my body and my face, and I obsess over them. I just try not to have too many mirrors around.

Courteney Cox: She [Jennifer Aniston] loves it [Dirt]. She thought it was beautifully shot, and she knows this is a show that is fun and not to be taken seriously.

Courteney Cox (on the Paparazzi and Dirt): Some weird part of me said, "Oh, he drove all the way to Anaheim," so we did some stupid posed shot. But then I said, "OK, you have to come meet with the writers of my show." I felt like, "If you are going to invade my life, give me something."

Courteney Cox: If I get a facial, the paparazzi are there. If I go to my office, they're there. We were followed all the way to Disneyland by five paparazzi cars for my daughter's birthday.

Courteney Cox: I would like to do a part that would stretch me. In America it seems to me that you just take your clothes off and that helps, but I wouldn't want to do that.

Courteney Cox: I don't think I'm too thin at all. I understand when people say, 'Well your face gets gaunt,' but to get your bottom half to be the right size, your face might have to be a little gaunt. You choose your battles.

Courteney Cox: (on Jennifer Aniston appearing her new show, Dirt) Jennifer loves the show. She's already like, 'What am I going to do?' We were like, 'OK, if you came on the show, would you want to play yourself, or do we write a fantastic character for you, or you know maybe you take Dirt down?' We will think of something good. She will come on for sure!

Courteney Cox: (admitting plans for a Friends reunion can't happen) There's going to be no Friends reunion. It's too hard to get everyone together. The writers are doing their thing, and I just can't see it happening - not that I wouldn't do it, because it would be fun.

Courteney Cox (on plans for a Friends reunion): We talk about it because we love each other and we hang out all the time. I'm just saying I'm not opposed to it. Jennifer said she's not opposed to it. When we say 'reunion' I mean do a little Thanksgiving episode. It sounds like fun. It's a lot of different people to get into the room, so I think the chances of it happening are slim.

Courteney Cox (on her appearance in the Bruce Springsteen video): I don't like my hair that short. It didn't work for me. I looked like a little boy and I danced like a jock.

Courteney Cox: Fame enables you to act. And there are other good points - we have a lot of freedom in our lives because of it.

Courteney Cox: (on meeting David Arquette) I heard he was a really sweet guy, but a little troublemaker. For some reason when I saw him--and I'm never like this--I was kind of cocky and I said something like, "I know who you are." I don't know why, but I wanted to have some kind of banter with him. I was really taken by him. He's a very original person. Then I got to know him and found that he's probably the sweetest person in the whole world. He has the best heart. And any troublemaking part of his personality is just out of fun and because he's kooky.

Courteney Cox: (responding to questions about her alleged bulimia) I wouldn't throw up if you paid me. It just seems to be a waste of time.

Courteney Cox: (on Monica's relationship with Chandler) It's so much fun for us. I have a new love for the show since I've gotten into this relationship. Honestly, I was a little bored the first four years.

Courteney Cox: (on her friendship with Matthew Perry, Chandler on Friends) [The relationship between Monica and Chandler is] kind of like our relationship in real life--except we don't kiss.

Courteney Cox: (on being open about her personal life) I know I open my mouth way too much, but I just do that.... I'd have to monitor myself and I can't be bothered.

Courteney Cox: (on her character Cybil in 3000 Miles to Graceland) I love wearing the clothes.... every outfit a bra had to be showing.

Courteney Cox: I'm not like [3000 Miles to Graceland's] Cybil, but then again, I'm not really like [Friends'] Monica.... But I'm not so one way that you can't see that.

Courteney Cox: (on filming the low-budget Calendar Girl) It was great. [The budget] was $150,000. I think we used the producer's neighbor's house as hair and makeup. There was no dressing room. We were roughing it, but we were so into it. It didn't feel like we were roughing it -- we were enjoying it.

Courteney Cox: (on the way she spells her name) It's an unusual way to spell it. It's my mom's name.

Courteney Cox: I'm not always such a control freak. I am controlling, but I am more passive than Monica.

Courteney Cox: (on mastering a camera for her role as photographer Sophie in November) It's not like riding a bike, it's like learning a language. If you don't keep it up, it's hard to remember.

Courteney Cox: Before he [husband David Arquette] moved in, David would say, "How are we ever going to meld together, because our tastes are so different?" Maybe it's because we're truly in love that we can.

Courteney: Honesty is the key to a relationship. If you can fake that, you're in.

Courteney: I have to be physically attracted to someone. But I can't just be with someone just because it's great sex. Because orgasms don't last long enough.

Courteney Cox: I only have to do three things to look halfway decent, curl my eyelashes, fill in my eyebrows and put some lipstick on.

Courteney Cox: I'm not a huge fan of romantic comedies - my taste goes much more to the offbeat and dark. I'd love to sink my teeth into something like Fargo.

Courteney Cox: A lot of my humor does come from anger. It's like, you're not gonna pull one over on me -which is pretty much my motto anyways.

Courteney Cox: I'm a Gemini, and I get so bored so easily. I mean, I have moved six times in the last eight years.

Courteney Cox (About her character in the Scream movies): I like keeping Gale bitchy. She has a reputation to live up to. She may have changed her hair but not much else.
