I will admit that Courtney Thorne-Smith is the only reason why I even bothered watching According to Jim. I only watched it once or twice. But when I did watch it, I thought that she was hot! I really wondered how could an overweight slouch get a smokin' hot wife like that? I have to say I could barely contain myself. I think she is a good actress and a good supporting star for any show. I don't know if she could carry a show all by herself, but I guess it would be interesting. Overall, she is pretty decent. Thank you.

I think Courtney Thorne-Smith was best as Alison Parker on Melrose Place. She fit the role perfectly as the good girl amongst all the vixens. I think she is a genuine, talented actress and one of the most captivating on tv today. I liked her teenage movie roles in Summer School and Revenge of the Nerds II. I hope Courtney continues to get great roles in primetime tv. She deserves to be more recognized for her talent! According to Jim is a nice family show, but I prefer to see Courtney in a more adventurous role, i.e. in a soap opera/dramedy. She sure is stunning and beautiful.

I've been following the career of Courtney Throne-Smith since the 1980's and I can't help it. she's a beautiful woman and I'm in love with her. I wrote her a few letter, I sure hope she get them all. I have some pictures of her at home. One picture of her make out with Ally MaBeal. she is very gorgeous and beautiful. she is also talented. I can't go one day without thinking about her. I haven't see "According to jim." If I do it would be because od sexy gal . She's a one-of-a-kind. What's her name Again:Courtney Throne-Smith. she's a treasure.

Even since I saw Courtney Thorne-Smith for the first time on television, I was charmed. A beautifal and talented actress was attracting all people around the world with her amazing performance of Alison Parker on "Melrose Place." Since then, Courtney was in a lot more projects, and she always did her best to play the part. Currently, you can watch her in "According to Jim," a pretty good comedy series, where she plays a mother of two children. During her career, Courtney always played the parts that suit her. From a single woman to a married woman, Courtney always looked the best, and did an amazing performance wherever she played.

CTS played Melrose Place's Alison, a wholesome girl who was often at odds with all around her. She wasn't at all sugary in her portrayal as MP's put upon heroine, but simply engaging.



After 5 seasons CTS left MP and co-starred in Ally McBeal as Georgia, she was Ally's colleague and married to Billy, Ally's childhood sweetheart. By the 3rd season the character of Georgia paled considerably when Billy was killed off(actor Gil Bellows wanted out), and disappeared without much of a mention. CTS and Gil Bellows both returned for the show's finale.



For a while CTS modelled for Almay cosmetics and later turned up in the comedy According to Jim. This knockabout sitcom has been running for some time now and with it's co-stars(James Belushi, Kimberley Williams) is far more worthy of her talents.

Courtney Thorne-Smith is so beautiful and gorgeous. I've seen her in the show "According to jim", she was held back :P. I had a lot of chances to see her in Ally McBeal but I didnt know her back then so I blame myself. I heard she had a lot of bad luck happening to her like migraines,eating disorders, a divorce, a role in According to Jim, and other things. I never got a chance to see her in Entertainment Tonight or The Insider. What could've happened to her??? :(

I really like her as an actress mainly because she always plays nice chacters, i remember when i saw her first in Melrose Place and at that time she look quite young later i found out she quite old almost twice age of me. That broke



It's such a shame she doesn't do movies anymore because i would watch them because of her, i havn't seen any recent photos so i don't know how she has aged but when she younger she stunning actress that could of gone far.



Ally Mcbeal, was her later roles after melrose place and i think after that show finished that was end of her.



i'm hoping she still in the acting business.
