    • Cybill Shepherd: I think to infringe on anybody's civil rights is a crime, and I absolutely believe they (lesbians and gays) should have the right to marry. I think it's none of the government's business, frankly.
    • Reporter: What would you do if you were granted a wish to be invisible for a day? Cybill Shepherd: Just people watch- that's my favorite thing. That's why I love New York because I feel kind of invisible there. If you don't draw attention to yourself you can remain anonymous.
    • Reporter: What is the most hurtful thing you've ever read about yourself? Cybill Shepherd: That I was jealous of how funny Christine Baranski (who played Marianne Thorpe) was on the Cybill Show and tried to hold her back. We did that show together for more than four years- do you honestly think we would've lasted that long if I was jealous of her? I call it 'blame-the-blonde'- the press made me out to be some sort of tyrant, when actually, as producer of the show, I made sure it was a real collaborative process, I wanted all actors around me to shine, which I believe they did. You never hear that negative stuff when a man stars of produces his own show.
