Dakin Matthews

Dakin Matthews was educated in San Francisco, New York, and Rome and has a degree in theology. He is an actor, playwright, director, author, theater scholar, and educator who has taught at Juilliard and at California State University-Hayward.

Dakin was artistic director of the Berkeley Shakespeare Festival and the California Actors Theatre; an associate artist of the Old Globe Theatre; and a founding member of the John Houseman's Acting Company and The Antaeus Company.
