I heard that Dakota was going to be raped in her next film. is this true?

Just a note to you young people concerned about the film 'Hound Dog', and actress Dakota Fanning's appearance. I am a screenwriter in California (not the writer on 'Hound Dog', though). My agent and I both worked with various financing vehicles prior to the production of 'Hound Dog', to try to solicit funding (my agent helped put together parts of the original package on this). As fans of Dakota, everyone understands that a young actress portraying something as terrible as a rape is very disturbing. But you shouldn't necessarily condemn either Dakota or the film-makers. In today's world, children are often the victims of these kinds of crimes. 'Hound Dog', to my understanding, seeks to portray this type of thing in a young life in a realistic, compassionate way. The idea here is to raise awareness about these crimes, not to win Oscars. Dakota may be praised for her daring and courage, and the film-makers as well. I am sure she will get an Oscar nod without a doubt. Her acting has been Oscar-caliber since she was 6 years old, basically. It's just a matter of putting her in a certain type of role, and it certainly sounds like Hounddog will fit the bill.
