    Well it has been finalized. Junior will not be in the number 8 next season. I am pretty sure that DEI is asking way too high of a price for the number. Even though it is NASCAR who techinically owns all the numbers. I think the owners rent them from NASCAR, via contract. I am sure DEI is trying to sublet the number to Junior via Hendrick, but the price is too high, so Little E, maybe in some kind of 8-ish number.

    I heard that they would sale the #8 but then they also wanted a percentage of the merchandise sales and of course Hendrick would not aggree to that.

    Yes Theresa still wanted some of the royalties from the Number. I am glad Jr said no. He stated that he wanted nothing connected to DEI when he left. Good for him...
