    1 Abysmal
A poor producer who has no idea how teenagers, and TV show writing in general, are supposed to work. hide show

Now, I will give Dan some props for making both The Amanda Show and Drake and Josh. But those are his only two good shows, and they both are cancelled.

I have never seen this man act, so I can't say weither he's good or not. However, I can tell you that his newer shows, perticuarly Icarly and Zoey 101, are just painful. He needs to get a TV show idea that is funny for both children and adults. Icarly is about a teenage girl, and although her website has had limited to no advertizing, becomes an overnight smash over the internet. Look, I myself don't post videos online, but I do follow several people who do. The Angry Video Game Nerd, one of the most famous internet icons, was online for two full years before got his fanbase esablished, and eventually got his big break, although AVGN's videos actually are expencive to produce, and he puts time and energy into them. The Icarly kids just have a camera, and WHAM! Instant sucess! now, maybe if Dan would do some research, he could make a show that's about a webshow AND it could serve somewhat as a guide to for how to make it big through internet, which some people have done in the past. But nope! He's to good for reserch, now isn't he

He is the only nickeloadeon director that makes the shows funny hide show

I have to say he is absoublately talented. I mean if you compare his jokes to other disney jokes, he will beat them hands down. I mean sure his fat but what can he do about it. However, there's something i dont like about his shows. Ever since Drake and Josh he's shows are becoming more disgusting with words bra and boobs. another thing is that they keep swearing 'OH MY GOD!' but still i think he has to be the greatest director of all time. I just hope that once he has passed on, others would take on his funiness and produce good shows like Drake and Josh, All that etc.

    He's okay. hide show

Dan Schneider, the man who helped make such Nickelodeon classics as "All That" or "Drake & Josh", is a decent writer. His works have helped make Nick what it is today. He and his work still continues to part of Nickelodeon. However, his writing quality is varied. Kenan & Kel's my favorite when it comes to Dan's work. All That was great in its early seasons, then came season 7. Zoey 101's not a bad show, but it's not that good. Drake & Josh is funny from time to time, though I can't stand the little sister Megan. The Amanda Show was good at the beginning, but it just became more and more crude. But, Dan's latest work, ICarly, is going well. So, he's one of those writers with varied talent. Sometimes, his work will be incredibly great. Other times, it can just be stale. But, no offense to the Schneider fans.

He's sometimes a decent actor, and he used to create good shows, but I'm not sure what happened to him. hide show

He's sometimes a decent actor, and he used to create good shows, but I'm not sure what happened to him. All That, Kenan and Kel, and some of the older episodes of Drake and Josh were some of his good works. But Zoey 101, iCarly, and the newer episodes of Drake and Josh? What was he thinking? (I guess it's just me that thinks he's lost his touch because everyone else is rating him so high.) *sigh* I don't know. When I look at his older works I see talent, but when I look at hos newer creations, the talent's practically gone.

The male version of Oprah (& I'm not talking about hosting a talk show). hide show

Starting in the 1989 season, Dan Schneider went from being a blimp to being semi-trimmed for the last two seasons of Head of the Class.

This would inspire Josh Peck to lose a few pounds & looking a little better on Drake & Josh.

I also salute Dan for being a marvelous producer & creator of shows fit for families & teens to watch (Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh).
