Daniel Cosgrove: (regarding Father's Day - June 15, 2008) My kids are still young, and as they are getting older, I see them through different phases of life, from baby to toddler, reaching different goals. I know that everything I do and say they are absorbing. How that will manifest itself, I don't know. I have a huge impact on their life. This is a long-term investment, and I cherish every day of it, even when it is the most frustrating, hardest thing and you are, 'Oh, my goodness, I am going to go out of my mind.'

Daniel Cosgrove: When I'm on set, I like to have fun and I am a goofball. This is my outlet to socialize, but when I am home, I don't want to be anywhere else. That's another great thing about coming back; it provides a nice balance of work and family.

Daniel Cosgrove: (discussing the way his character has changed after returning to Guiding Light) He's getting into a lot of trouble and really acting like a jerk. I kind of have a problem with that. I'm usually the dependable guy. The nice guy. This show has a lot of strong women on it. The good thing about strong women is that they need strong men. Bill's angry. He's acting like a jerk because he's really hurt and confused. He's hit a point in his life where he needs to prove who he is and what he can do.

Daniel Cosgrove: (discussing his return to Guiding Light) I'm taking myself out of the L.A. game to a large degree. This is not the career path a lot of people would take, but reality strikes as you get older. I'm happy and at peace with this.
