Daniel Radcliffe: (revealing he believes audiences in the US are noisy and rude) I would like to initiate an initiative, the Broadway Annoying Audience Member Relocation Programme, so we can lose the people whose phones ring more than three times, that have the kind of throat condition which causes them to cough like they have consumption, those who take more than 10 seconds to find whatever is in their plastic bag.

Daniel Radcliffe: (on appearing nude in the stage play "Equus") A friend asked me once, 'Are you worried about getting an erection on stage?' I said, 'No, that would be great!' Rather the opposite takes place actually.

Daniel Radcliffe: (revealing his penis shrank when he appeared naked on stage in Equus) You tighten up like a hamster. The first time it happened, I turned around and went, 'You know, there's a thousand people here and I don't think even one of them would expect you to look your best in this situation.' I am terribly self-conscious.

Daniel Radcliffe: (revealing his nudity in the play 'Equus' was treated like pornography) Offended mothers were calling up and saying I shouldn't be doing this, that they weren't going to go see it. OK, don't see it. They're treating it like it's pornography, and it's not. It's only seven minutes at the end of the play when I'm naked, and I'm 19 now.

Daniel Radcliffe: (on saying that he'll do all of the Harry Potter movies) Ultimately it comes down to whether we're still enjoying it. If we are then I think we would be sort of stupid not to do them. As long as I'm doing other stuff around the same time, I think it'll be fine. Also, I sort of try to read the books when they come out impartially and not make up my mind, but the fact is when I was reading the sixth, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, there were bits in there where I was going, 'God, I would love to do that because it's so good'.

Daniel Radcliffe: It's not so much that they don't want me to grow up. It's that they're annoyed that I'm growing up adjusted. They'd much rather I was growing up and going wild and crashing cars.

Daniel Radcliffe: I'm not much of a cake person.

Daniel Radcliffe: I love that scene! It was so totally clumsy. It's so malcoordinated when she asks him to kiss her neck and play with her tits at the same time. It's that first time experience when you're like, 'OK. What's this hand doing? What's that hand doing?' Trying to coordinate all those things at once is an absolute nightmare. It's a sex scene that's not sexy. It's clumsy and sweet.

Daniel Radcliffe: (On the play Equus) I hope that role will allow people to see me as something else. Harry Potter will be the character that got me famous, and will probably be the one that people remember first, but I like to think that if I work hard enough and so as many different things as I can, there will eventually be others that will stick in their minds as well.

Daniel: (On growing up) The character is so exciting in this film. He's so complex. When you're eleven, you're not that complicated. You know what you like and what you don't like, and you know what you want to do and what you don't. But as you get older, there's so much more. You're constantly subjected to this whole cacophony of conflicting thoughts. And I've been able to use that, I hope, to capture some of the detail and complexity of Harry.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about what kind of rumor would he spread about himself) I've never been asked that question before and that's a very good question. I'd probably make out that I'm very very tall and that I'm going out with Scarlett Johansson or someone like that.

Daniel Radcliffe: Me and Harry are not very good with women. I've got better now. But I think any man whoever says he has never had an awkward moment with a girl is a liar. He's either a liar or he's delusional.

Daniel Radcliffe: (joking about whether the kids would fall into wild Hollywood lifestyles) I'm planning on buying 20 Porsche's and crashing them all just for the extravagance! The kids don't go to the parties they're invited to most often.

Dan Radcliffe: There is always this thing of, 'Will you get too old for your part?' People play a lot younger than they actually are in real life. I don't think it's as big an issue as a lot of people make it out to be.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about the fate of his character in the final "Harry Potter" book) I have no idea what's going to happen--although many people assume that I do.

Daniel Radcliffe: I once had a friend call me (Harry) by accident. If there's another person in the room called Harry and somebody shouts their name I do respond slightly, which is embarrassing. But no one has ever said it in the throws of passion. That would be the end of that session. Go now!

Daniel Radcliffe: I support Fulham because I live two minutes away from the ground, but I'm not a massive football fan. Cricket is the game I'm obsessed with, to be honest, and also despair of.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about Math) Too many little numbers on one page!

Daniel Radcliffe: (about religion) I'm not a religious person. My mom was of Jewish blood and my dad was Protestant... I'm very interested in religion as something to study, but I'm not a religious person in the slightest.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about his body) I feel OK about my body. Not totally, of course, no one my age does ... but I've gone to the gym to make sure. And many of the actors I admire, like Gary Oldman, have gone naked.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about when he got told about him getting the role of Harry Potter) I was in the bath at the time, and my dad came running in and said, 'Guess who they want to play Harry Potter!?' and I started to cry. It was probably the best moment of my life.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about what were the most challenging scenes in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban) One of them was with Gary Oldman at the end. We're facing off the Dementors, across the lake. I had to do the biggest Expecto Patronum, but I hadn't really given myself anywhere to go because I had done lots of high energy, intense ones. So I had to push myself even harder - that was quite hard. But really good.

Daniel Radcliffe: (what he likes to do in his spare time) Yeah. I think one of my favorite things to do is just lock myself up in a small room and listen to music and watch films for a day. Also I just like seeing my friends. We have pizza parties which means I get four friends round, we eat a pizza and we're really lazy and we play PlayStation.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about working with new people in Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets) It was great. Especially Hugh Mitchell, who plays Colin Creevey. At first he's really shy but then you get to know him and he's completely mad, he's really cool, I really like him.

Daniel Radcliffe: (about his favourite scene in 'Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets') I love the scene with the dueling with lots of crowds, then you've got a fantastic confrontation between Alan Rickman and Kenneth Branagh. And in both the car scene and the dueling scenes there's a lot of stunts going on and I really enjoyed doing that.

Daniel Radcliffe: (what his parents have told him) My mum and dad have just told me to enjoy it. There are a lot worse things [that could] happen than just being recognized.

Dan Radcliffe: (February 2007) I've not got a girlfriend at the moment. Somebody said, 'Do you worry girls are just giving you attention because of who you are?' I was like, 'I'm 17, it's wonderful.'

Dan Radcliffe: When I get into trouble at school I'd like to take an invisibility cloak, drape it over me and sneak out the door. Or I'd like to have a 3 headed-dog because then no one would argue with me.

Dan Radcliffe: I'm thrilled of the acceptance I get abroad. The people are so hearty, warm and grateful and I feel privileged having seen so many countries and some of the greatest monuments.

Dan Radcliffe: I think I'm highly normal. I'm attending school after acting, I'm going out with friends, going to the cinema - I'm just doing everything a normal teenager does. People think I can't leave the house without being in a crowd of fans - but that's not true. I'm able to do more things than people might think.

Dan Radcliffe: Fans are really important for me. And if they take pains to write me, it's the minimum that I answer myself.

Dan Radcliffe: Stage is much more intimidating than going before the cameras, because you can really screw up, and can't do a retake.

Dan Radcliffe: When I go back to school everyone asks a lot of questions. Then, after about a week, when I've answered everything, we get back to normal.

Daniel: (On considering himself as a heartthrob) Personally I can't see it, but if other people can, fine. Cool!

Dan Radcliffe: I would consider doing any part as long as the script is good and the film has an interesting director.

Dan Radcliffe: (on working with real bats on the set) I like them, but it's hard to concentrate when the bats fly about, and they pee while they fly.

Dan Radcliffe: I've never been one of the cool people at school, but then again, I don't get the people who are cool. It's not that I don't like them, it's just that they don't interest me.

Dan Radcliffe: (after being cast as Harry Potter) I think I'm a tiny bit like Harry 'cos I'd like to have an owl. Yeah, that's the tiny bit, actually.

Daniel Radcliffe: The only thing I would be embarrassed about doing--and luckily I don't think it will happen in Harry Potter--is full nudity.

Daniel Radcliffe: (On false tabloid rumors about himself) I don't read any of the stuff. I think it's rather a waste of their ink!

Daniel Radcliffe: I don't know. People tell me I look mournful. They say, "Cheer up, Dan, it's not that bad!" Sometimes I just look into space, which freaks people out. If I was ever required to do anything other than look haunted, I could. I'm a happy person. Though I don't, like, dot my "I's" with hearts or anything - that would be too happy.

Daniel Radcliffe: I see myself doing Harry Potter films as long as I'm enjoying it and as long as they are going to challenge me as an actor. I want to be an actor--it's my aspiration--so I want to do other films. I want to write something and I want to direct something!

Daniel Radcliffe: Personally, I prefer the dark side.

Daniel Radcliffe: I'm crap with girls. Guys my age, they think they're suave, but they're rubbish and they know it.

Daniel Radcliffe: (joking) I'm not clumsy, I'm accident-prone!

Daniel Radcliffe: (upon seeing the movie) I'm a bit nervous about whether people will like it, but I've seen it, and I'm sure they will. It's really good - it's quite scary, it's quite emotional. Even I cried and I don't cry easily! I cried at the end credits when my name came up, and I was, like, Oh my God! I can't believe that's my name! I've met so many people since we started filming and it's been wonderful. I've progressed so far and changed so much since the beginning. It's been like a real journey.

Daniel Radcliffe: I don't understand girls, but I'm learning slowly.

Dan: (what he has to say about his favorite subjects) I like science and I love gym. Oh, and I like art, but I'm really bad at it. I'm just a terrible drawer. I can't draw a circle. Even with a ruler, I can't draw a straight line.
