Beck and Jade help Sinjin with a couples' game show by getting the gang to compete on it. Andre, Cat, Robbie, Tori, Beck, and Jade are coupled off into heart shaped couches; the pairs are Andre and Cat, Robbie and Tori, and Beck and Jade.

Tori gets a lead in a school play in which Jade auditioned. After Jade became the understudy, Tori offers to lend blood to Robbie who is very sick, despite the fact that the school play is only a few hours away. Meanwhile, Trina tries to find the perfect cough for her part in Steam Boat Suzie.

A handsome classmate 'Ryder' has trouble trusting Tori after he caught her snooping on his phone. Later Tori agrees to sing a duet at the Full Moon Jam with Ryder, but soon after she's told about his bad reputation; she seeks revenge.

Robbie's pals think it is time for Robbie to let go of his puppet Rex after Rex gets severely damaged. However, Tori's uncertain if saying good-bye to Rex is really what's best for Robbie.

Cat falls in love with a boy that likes the same things that she does, but what Cat doesn't realize is that her new boyfriend Daniel is Tori's ex-boyfriend. Tori becomes jealous of Cat and Daniel's relationship, which puts Cat and Tori's friendship in jeopardy.

To beat the heat the gang goes to the beach in Beck's RV. When they get there, Cat gets out to go to the bathroom, and when the rest of them try to get out too, they find that the door will not open and they are stuck in the RV. Now Cat must decide if she is going to save her friends, or hang out with some cute guys she met.

Robbie is running into problems with his video news blog because it is stale and not very popular. However, Tori tells him that he can make it more interesting by uploading videos of his classmates' lives. Unfortunately, Robbie gets into trouble with his classmates when he goes too far. Meanwhile, Cat gets addicted to online-shopping.

Cat used Tori as her assignment for a make up class, everything turns out wrong when she makes a mask with super glue and it gets stuck to Tori's face which leaves her looking like a zombie.
So she sends Trina and Cat for a 2 hour drive to retrieve a solvent from the factory, but they get distracted by ice-cream and are pulled over by the police, and don't arrive until the last scene of the play.

Beck becomes friends with a famous beautiful female teenage socialite, which does not still well with Jade, so Jade dumps Beck. She soon has second thoughts about breaking up with Beck, so she asks Tori to help her win Beck back. Meanwhile, Robbie is reviewing Trina's one-woman show at Hollywood Arts for the school news blogs, but after Robbie tells her that he has to write an honest review which states her show as terrible, Trina then warns Robbie that he better give her show a positive review...or else!

Trina's birthday is a big deal in her world and because of this, Tori struggles to find the perfect birthday gift for Trina. André suggests that she writes a song, so as a gift from the heart. She then decides to write an amazing pop song for Trina as a present. However, an ungrateful Trina decides to turn her birthday gift into cash by selling the song, because she thinks it isn't an actual gift since Tori didn't spend any money on it. Meanwhile, Robbie is asked by his grandmother to teach her about computers, and Cat decides to tag along. She regrets it, however, when Robbie's Grandmother shows a deep dislike of her.

Tori gets a chance to perform an act of stage fighting, but things look bad for her when she gets paired up with Jade. However, when the two perform their scene, she encounters a problem when she is accused of deliberately hurting Jade during a fight scene. Meanwhile, Trina struggles with Robbie's constant displays of affection after an on-stage kiss.

Tori finds out that everyone who attends Hollywood Arts must complete "The Bird Scene." So, she works hard on preparing the monologue for her drama class. Elsewhere, André and Robbie enroll in a ballet class to meet girls, but their plan backfires.

Tori Vega gets the chance of a lifetime, after filling in for her sister's performing act, she is given the opportunity to attend the elite Hollywood Arts High School. However, fitting in proves difficult when she is targeted by Jade when she sees her with her boyfriend, which causes her to wonder if she truly belongs there.
