    • In 1996, Daryl was nominated for an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series Image award for his role in The John Laroquette Show.

    • Daryl was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. When he had his accident, he refused blood transfusions during the surgery because it contradicted the teachings of his religion.
