David Boreanaz

In 2010, it came out that David had cheated on his wife Jaime Bergman. The couple worked through this time and are still married as of 2012.

David was a celebrity blogger for the nhl.com website for the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs as a follower of the Philadelphia Flyers, in spite of the fact that he grew up a fan of the Buffalo Sabres.

Before becoming an actor, David worked as a parking attendant, house painter, props department assistant, and the guy who hands out towels in a sports club.

David was chosen as one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive" for 2007.

David is in a total of 166 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel combined. This is by far the highest number of appearances in the Buffyverse. David married Ingrid Quinn on June 7, 1997, but they divorced in 1999.

When David moved out to California, he and his father took a 2 week road trip. He really enjoyed the time with his dad. He stayed with his sister and slept on her couch.

David was discovered in Hollywood, California by a producer who noticed his brooding and intense looks while he was walking his dog.

David sued the driver of a car, Oren Kaniel, that crashed into David's 1999 Mercedes-Benz on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles, north of Western Avenue, on Aug. 3, 1999. He sought damages for pain and suffering, medical care, loss of earnings, repairs to his car, being deprived of his car while it was fixed, and damage to his personal property.

David has a Kanji tattoo on each wrist, one means "Soul" and the other means "Destiny". His wife, Jaime, has the same tattoos.

David loves to cook healthy meals. He appeared on Martha Stewart's show Martha on Jan 27, 2006 and made a dish of Roasted Sardines.

David has two sisters, Beth and Bo.

David is the son of Philadelphia weatherman, Dave Roberts and his wife Patti. Mr. Roberts was also known as Dave Thomas when he worked in Buffalo, but his birth name is David Thomas Boreanaz.

As well as being the weatherman for WKBW Channel 7 in Buffalo, Dave Thomas was also the host of Rocketship 7, a children's program of the mid 60's and early 70's, watched by hundreds of thousands of western NY and southern Ontario children for years.

David has done voice work in two video games. He voiced the character of Squall Leonhart in Kingdom Hearts, and Angel in the 2002 XBox game Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Appeared in the 1993 film, Aspen Extreme, but was not credited for his appearance.

Boreanaz and co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar were rumored to have an off-set relationship while he was still on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

His first apperiance on TV was on the series Married... With Children as Kelly's biker boyfriend "Frank" in the episode "Movie Show" (7x22).
Curiously, the actress Julie Benz, who played the vampire "Darla" (the character who turned Angel into a vampire), on Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer also got her start on Married... With Children playing "Sascha" in the episode "Field Of Screams" (8x19).

David appeared in the fourth Crow film, The Crow: Wicked Prayer, as the villain, Luc Crash. The film was released direct to DVD on July 19th 2005.

David appeared in Dido's music video for the song White Flag.

David is of Italian and Czech descent.

Though David's character, Angel, was in the original pilot script for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, he was not included in the unaired version of the pilot which was shown to WB executives to sell the series concept.

In November of 1998 David was sued by a former landlord for "trashing" the house he was renting. David denied the charges.

Art Moore, of the band Singing Tramps, is David's uncle and godfather. Art is also godfather to David's son, Jaden.
