    • David Cameron won the GQ 'Politician of the Year' award at the 'Men of the Year Awards' in both 2006 and 2007.
    • In June 2007, Conservative MP Quentin Davies caused shock by defecting from the Conservatives to Labour and blaming Cameron's leadership as the reason why.
