Thanks for starting such a great forum first off....secondly...i just want to encourage EVERYONE to go rent the movie HOUSE OF D. It is such a remarkably written film, and David was amazing in it. The film was so much different then anything I have ever seen, and should be nominated for an oscar in my opinion. I was a huge fan of David's b/c of the x-files, but this truly shows that he can do then just play amazing characters, he can create amazing ones too! I hope you all agree!

    Hi there tinkerbell!

All I did was come up with a few threads, thanks to TV.com for the forum! <hugs TV.com>

I couldn't agree more about House of D. David did an amazing job with this film and I wish more people had given it the credit it deserves. The acting, the writing, everything was just so good.

I know! Did you happen to watch all the special features also? they had a special section where they talk to david about the movie, his acting, writing, and directing. It explained a lot of the film and helped you to realize what was going on in his head when he wrote it! i loved it!

I agree with all of you,its sad that most indie films get swept under the rugs because they weren't big blockbusters!

This was a sweet nostalgic film that has heart and soul.

BTW: I can't wait for TTM and The Secret!

I cant wait till they come out either.   do u know when there release dates are??

I did watch all of them, over and over. The best thing was David's blog though. Listening to him and reading his posts....oh I love some of his stories about how the movie came about. <melts>

I now ADORE Lions Gate Films. LOL!

I'm chomping at the bit for The Secret!!! Trust The Man will do great on the Sept. opening I think. It's such a strong cast and looks like it is well shot, written, etc.

    I just want more David!

For some reason I'm dying to see "The Secret" more than "Trust The Man" and "The TV Set".

I'm also looking forward to seeing David working with Halle in "Things We Lost In The Fire"

For some reason? Wonder what reason that is? Hmmm...haha but yeah I really wanna see those too. I hope 'The Secret' will come out eventually I've heard no word on it for awhile and I really wanna see that one and 'The TV Set'. TTM looks alright but I think the only reason I want to see it is DD and his absolute delish look he's got in this film but who knows it may surprise me and be a good film as well.

Ok I need to add some photos into the DD photo album. I've been so busy with my Mulder photo hunt I forgot about regular DD photos (eek! I know) Ok this is getting OT. Sorry all!

I don't know WHY I want to see the secret so badly...hmmmm. <evil monkey giggles>

I just posted about David's look in TTM!! The glasses...and maybe it has to do with some of the scenes and comments about him and his sex drive in the movie. Nah, that wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it?

You'd better get to posting more pics! When you have time (make time!) not that there's any rush (don't wait too long!) but we appreciate all your pic posting skils for us (you make us drool!).

Oh, I should warn you all that sometimes subliminal posts show up around here. LOL!

And don't sweat it being OT too much. I'll kick the admins butt if he gets all mean about it. :evil monkey giggles:
