  • Quotes

    • David: (on his ER character and the feedback he's getting) My character is a little bit ... well, I don't like using the word "sleazy", but unfortunately that's probably it. Some people are loving that he's got such an abrasive quality, while other people can't respect his ethics. But either way he's getting the response producers wanted from the character. It's difficult coming into a new place and being the guy people have a problem with, especially when the audience is up around the 13 million mark. It's a bit weird.

    • David: (on the difference between himself and Josh 'ET' Holiday) We look the same - but that's about all the similarities we share. I think I'm much more reserved than ET. I love extremes, but am in no way a pants man.

    • David: (on his Sea Patrol character, Josh 'ET' Holiday) I guess he's a guy that lives for extremes. He loves the Navy and the camaraderie it creates and views his shipmates as his family. He's passionate about his job, the environment and most of all – women. Basically he's an incorrigible pants-man... a guy suffering a pretty dire case of peter pan syndrome. But beneath it all, he's got a big heart and a fierce sense of loyalty.
