Dax is best known as Tim Truman on Sunset Beach. He played the part through out the shows complete run. By the age of 18 Dax knew he wanted to be an actor, performing on stage in various Shakespearean productions.
In 1995 he auditioned for several television and film roles, which finally led him to being cast in the new NBC daytime series Sunset Beach. He was working in the popular Hollywood club The Derby when he was notified he had got the part.
Dax graduated from the University of Almbama in 1995 with a degree in business marketing.

Since Sunset Beach ended Dax has had recurring roles in two other daytime soap operas All My Children and Passions.
