    • Debbie owns one of the pairs of ruby slippers made for the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz". There were several pairs made, some for tests and some for use in the movie. Debbie's pair are a pair used as tests.

    • Debbie is President of The Thalians, an organization for the treatment of mental health at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. Ruta Lee is the chairman. Both have been actively involved in building this celebrity run organization for over 30 years.
