Derek Hough

Derek was chosen as one of People magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive" for 2007.

Some of Derek's favorite things to do are go wakeboarding, skateboarding, and snow boarding.

Derek is 5'10" tall.

Derek won an award for the LA Underground Outstanding Dancer of the Year and also the New York Dance Alliance Outstanding Dance award.

Over the Christmas holiday season in 2006, Derek joined his sister, Julianne, dancing on the Dancing With The Stars Tour.

In 2006, Derek performed the role of Rex in the Broadway production of Footloose.

When Derek was eighteen, he won the World Latin American Champion.

Derek was a one of the choreographer on Bruno Tonioli's team on Dance X.

Derek's professional competitive dance partner for two years was Aneta Piotrowska. As of 2007, he is partnered with Rosa Filippello.

Derek appeared in the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and also was the lead dancer in George Michael's video "Round Here."

Derek moved to London in 1998 to study dance.

Derek plays guitar and is the lead singer of his band, Almost Amy, along with fellow Dancing With The Stars professional dancer, Mark Ballas.
