Derren Brown

The first show of Derren's that I saw was when I was about 15. During MY younger years my father had amazed me with simple magic tricks which, as a kid, I saw as amazing. What Derren did, however, was far more extraordinary. The episode was "Trick of the Mind" Episode 1. The fact that Derren could make a taxi driver who knew London well forget where the London Eye, a prodominant (ugly) feature of the landscape, was was simly incredible. The man has made himself into an artist, and, from what I've seen, a very accomplished one. I have read his book and watched all of his shows, and needless to say I do idolise him somewhat!



If you haven't seen any of his work, I encourage you to do so as soon as you have finished reading this!

some of his shows include, trick of the mind, mind control, the hiest, the gathering, russian roulette, seance, the messiah, and brillant live shows such as the something wicked this way comes tour. if you havent seen any of these shows i advise you to check out his dvds.

derren's skills are outstanding and will geuinely leave you baffeld. derren uses power of suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship to predict and control human behaviour.

i really enjoyed his shows, which are also humour's and put together well.

ive been watching evry episode hes done on channle 4 and he is great.

his magic tricks are great! trick of the mind is great and spooky its unusual how he can do stuff thats seemingly impossible right infront of your eyes! often he does tricks on celebritys like robbie williams or jonathon ross.
