Destiny's Child has released a total of six albums.

The title of the band's third album "Survivor" reportedly came from a joke from a DJ, who said that being in the group was like being on the show Survivor because someone was always being voted out.

Destiny's Child was parodied on the comedy show Saturday Night Live with Gemini's Twin, a female R&B group who always got a new member. This was making fun of the fact that Destiny's Child went through a few changes in their line-up.

Destiny's Child has had several names before they became known by the world as Destiny's Child. Those names are: Girls Tyme, Cliche, Borderline, The Dolls, and Something Fresh.
