Biography

Recent Role:
Brother D-Von on TNA Pay-Per-View
Gender:
Male
Born:
8-1-1972
Birthplace:
Huntington New York, USA
Birth Name:
Devon Hughes
AKA:
D-Von Dudley, A-Train, Brother Devon, Brother Devon Deadly, D'Von, Reverend D-Von, Dudley Boyz, Team 3D
Grew up on Long Island in Huntington, NY, graduated high school from New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, NY. Played football throughout. Upon graduation, Devon pursued his dream, and started his wrestling training with Johnny Rodz in New York City. He got his big break when he was brought in as the evil Dudley Brother, D-Von, a disgruntled postal worker, in 1996. He was scheduled to feud with his "brothers" in ECW. He soon partnered with the newly-turned-heel Bubba Ray Dudley, and went on to form one of the most successful tag team in ECW history. They went on to win the ECW World TagMore Team Titles 8 times before they defected for the WWF in 1999.

No tag team in the history of sports entertainment has enjoyed the success that the Dudley Boyz can boast. They are the only tandem to hold WWE, WCW, and ECW Tag Team Championships and have worn the gold a combined 17 times. While Bubba Ray Dudley is known for crashing opponents through tables, D-Von Dudley is perhaps best known as the more spiritual of the two. But no matter which Dudley is in the ring, this team is not only a legendary success story, but one that is adding more chapters each time they enter the ring.

The two have been inseperable since reuniting at Survivor Series 2002. When the Dudleys are around, nothing is safe-wheter it be a tag team opponent or any table that happens to be near the ring. If it is not scary enough that the Dudleys could be the best tag team to ever set foot in the ring, keep in mind that this duo is at the top of their games and as far as they are concerned you have not seen the best from them yet.

He is really awesome in TNA. He and Mark Lamonica are my favourite tag team known as Team 3D they are both really talented. I am glad they left the worst wrestling promotion ever aka WWE and gone to the best wrestling promotion in my opinion and hope they get a push for the Tag Team champions.
