The Adorable Diana Muldaur is most famed for her roles in L.A. Law, McCloud, The Other, Star Trek, Born Free.

Diana Muldaur was born in Brooklyn in 1938. She's a graduate of Sweet Briar College(1960), and started her career on Brodway in the 60s.



She earned two Emmy-nominations for her portrayal of the L.A. Law witch-in-heals Rosalind Shays, a character who's been called "the greatest female television-character in history."



Diana is one of only 32 actors to have starred in both original Star Trek and then in one

Muldaur is a former president of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She's also a former Screen Actors Guild board member, and a fairly well-known breeder and judge of Airedale Terriers.



Diana does not have fond memories of her Star Trek years. "Everybody was out for them selves. I don't think they were happy to have me there". She describes the L.A. Law-actors as "the closest family." She has also said that Rosalind Shays was "just too strong for a lot of men".

After L.A. Law , the wonderful Diana Muldaur ducked out of Hollywood completely: "I totally stopped acting and started living."

    Diana Muldaur is the greatest actress you could ever see! She is so talanted that you don't even notice her co-stars! hide show

    I'm in love with this lady! The first time I saw her on television she was playing The **** Above them all: Rosalind Shays on L.A. Law. I had never seen anything like her in my life, and I still havn't seen anything like her. She really is an amazing actress! She made L.A. Law my favorite show, a show that sadly jumped the shark when Adorable Rosalind fell down the elevator shaft in the 5th season. The "Leland does Roz"-scene was rated as the 38th greatest moment in television in an issue of EGG Magazine.
    It really should have been rated as the greatest moment of them all!
