Dick Wolf

Dick was an advertising copywriter in New York for 7 years before moving to LA.

Dick received a star for television on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 29, 2007. It is located at 7040 Hollywood Blvd.

Dick married Noelle Lippman on June 17, 2006. He was formerly married to Christine Marburg (1983-2005) and Susan Scranton (1970-1983).

Dick is a member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity.

Dick's kids, Elliot and Olivia, served as the namesakes for the two lead characters of his drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit; Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson.

Dick has three children: Olivia, Sarina and Elliot.

Dick is close friends with novelist James Ellroy. One of Ellroy's friends, Bill Stoner, a detective with the LAPD, was asked by Wolf to be a technical advisor on Dragnet.

Wolf was an altar boy at St. Patrick's cathedral.

Wolf attended the University of Pennsylvania.

Won the Emmy in 1997 for Outstanding Drama Series for "Law & Order."
