Dina Lohan

In 1998, Dina had her film debut in the 1998 film The Parent Trip in the uncredited role of "Woman in Airport". Daughter Lindsay famously starred in the film.

In May 2008, Mingling Mom's named Dina as one of Long Island's Top 20 Moms.

Dina has said in previous interviews that she did not object when, in February 2008, her daughter Lindsay re-enacted Marilyn Monroe's final nude photo shoot for a magazine. "I look at it as art," Dina said. "Lindsay worked really hard on that. She did about 250 crunches beforehand!"

Dina attended a therapy session on Thanksgiving Day 2007 with her ex-husband Michael and her daughters Aliana and Lindsay.

Tony Almeida, daughter Lindsay Lohan's former bodyguard, ripped Dina's parenting to The New York Post's Page Six on August 9, 2007. Lindsay's bodyguard of three years told Page Six that "From a young age, she dealt with her mother's drinking." He also went on to say that Dina often "let her do whatever she wanted, just to keep her happy and working . . . [At her 16th birthday party] Lindsay drank whatever she wanted - I saw her drinking beer and mixed drinks with my own eyes [without Dina's intervention]."

Dina strongly believes in "going with your first instinct" and often offers this advice to those in a crunch.

Dina has admitted she sometimes introduces herself as Lindsay's personal assistant because "I don't want them to know I'm her mom. It's a whole 'nother demographic. People just go dark."

On April 11, 2007, The New York Post's Page Six reported that Dina and her younger friends were seen drinking at Suite, where they drank $750 worth of vodka, cranberry drinks and champagne. The club generously comped Dina and her friends the drinks they had and Dina reportedly then proceeded to leave the waitress a $100 tip. Dina, however, disputes the tale: "We weren't drinking at all . . . We were there to see a DJ named Justin and possibly sign him", she told Page Six.

Dina has voiced her beliefs that "Diana will happen again" meaning that Lindsay will die the same way Diana, Princess of Wales died, a car wreck while chased by paparazzi, if the paparazzi continue to harass the young actress for pictures with such aggression as they do now.

Dina's daughter, Lindsay, has expressed deep concern about her mom's partying.

Dina stands at a tall 5'11½" or 1.82 m.

Dina has been famously nicknamed as "The White Oprah."

Dina was once a Wall Street analyst.

On June 6, 2007, The New York Post's Page Six reported that Dina never worked as a a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, although Dina has claimed to have for years. A spokeswoman for Radio City has reported that after an exhaustive search under all of Dina's aliases no records of Dina being a Rockette were found.
