When I was 10yrs old I first saw Dinah in Soap(the delightful Elaine) when other kids had seen her in Grease(I appreciated this film later on). Despite her diminuative stature she has a commanding prescence in any production.
Apart from Soap, Dinah shone in Empty Nest(with co-star Richard Mulligan)& Nurses. I also remember in the film Ordinary People, her scenes with Timothy Hutton showed she wasn't just a face for comedies.
Like many actors she's turned her hand to directing.
Dinah, remembering you as Elaine & Carol, you're a star.
