Douglas Petrie

Doug Petrie is atelevision writer and producer, whose first writing credit was for the popular Nickelodeon teen show, Clarissa Explains It All (starring Melissa Joan Hart) in 1991. From there, he wrote the screenplay for Harriet the Spy, and joined the Buffy the Vampire Slayer writing staff in 1998 during season three. His first episode on Buffy the Vampire Slayer was "Revelations" (3x07), and his last was "End Of Days" (7x21). He also directed three of the epsiodes and wrote two epsiodes of Buffy's Spinoff series, Angel.

As of 2006, Petrie lives in Los Angeles, California.
