Trivia and Quotes

  • But I think Eazy-E was more real.

Dr. Dre and Eazy-E were best friends and I liked N.W.A. a lot but I wondered how this beef got started anyway. Then after Dr. Dre dissed Eazy wit Dre Day Eazy E said he got payed off of the song and then dissed him. Then Eazy E died in 1995 then 4 years later Dr. Dre tributed Eazy E with "What's the Difference" he's a great rapper I have to admit and I didn't like it when they had a beef with each other.moreless

Andre "Dr.dre" Young is a rap legend. He first got signed with his rap group NWA along with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Mc Ren and Yella. The group relaeased three studio albums titled "Straight outta compton", "100 miles and runnin'" and "Efil4zaggin". They also released a greatest hits in 1996. After Ice cube left Nwa Dr.dre was next to leave and he and Suge Knight set up their own label "Death Row records". This label was a huge success and they sigend such artists as The Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg and 2pac. While in Death Row Dr.dre recorded one studio album in 1992 "The Chronic" this was one of the greatest albums of the 90's. Dr.dre mainly worked as a producer at Death Row and he produced for most artists on the label. In early 1996 soon after 2pac dropped his first album with Death Row Dre left the label to set up his own label "Aftermath". He became rivals with 2pac and suge knight after he left. He released an album in late 1996 called "Aftermath presents...". This however was a letdown from Dre's standards. His label wasn't doing very well. Then, he signed Eminem and he released an album "The slim shdy lp" which was a huge success and Eminem became known as one of the greatest emcees around. Eminem set up his own label "Shady Records where he signed 50 cent along side dre and he also signed Obie Trice. Dr.dre signed many new artists to his label such as 50 cent, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Eve, Rakim and many more and now he owns one of the biggest and best labels around.

Dr.dre has released two studio albums "The Chronic and "2001" and he has also released a hit movie called "The Wash" along with a soundtrack to the movie. He is expected to release a new album called "Detox" in late 2006 early 2007moreless
