Edward Fox comes of a grand theatrical family - his mother was the English actress Angela Fox, who was a daughter of the playwright Frederick Lonsdale, and his brother James Fox and daughter Emilia Fox are also actors. Having served as an officer in the Coldstream Guards (which is the most prestigious regiment in the British Army) Edward has made a long and successful acting career out of aristocratic roles.
