Edward began acting at an early age, and performed in school plays while attending Eastbourne College. It was while acting at Eastbourne that Edward was discovered by Pippa Hall, the casting director for Narnia; while Edward didn't get that role, it did eventually lead to his being cast as the lead in the 2006 movie Eragon.

Edward Speleers is a young male actor from England. He starred in the 2006 film Eragon, and in the television show Echo Beach. hide show

Ed Speleers is one of my favorite actors.In the movie Eragon, he becomes one with the character. It's like he was meant to be Eragon. Many people don't pay attention to his incredible acting skills. Edward should be credited more for his excellent abilities. Did I also mention his accent? Ed Speleers is from England so he has an amazing British accent which made him an even better choice for Eragon. It just seems to fit. He hasn't really been in many shows or movies except Eragon and Echo Beach but I am sure that there is a successful acting career ahead of him.
