Emilia Clarke: (on what is the hardest part of doing Game of Thrones) The hardest part was putting that blonde wig on every morning. And of course naked scenes felt awkward at first, now I'm trying to get used to it. But we all had a great time together, I've learn a lot and I've grown a lot. It's been a pleasure working with such an amazing cast and crew, they were indeed much more experienced than I was.
Emilia Clarke: (on who is her favorite character from Game of Thrones) One of my favourite characters are definitely King Robert Baratheon. I think Mark Addy is a legend. He is brilliant.
Emilia Clarke: She is this incredible...incredible character. And you get to see her really grow, and you get to see her start as this really young, naive sort of girl that doesn't know very much with what's going on in her life and then she grows into this incredible woman, alomst like a warrior princess really.
Emilia Clarke: (on doing nudity in her role) You know, a young actress, it's not really your favorite thing, but you just kind of get so into the character you forget about it completely. HBO's tasteful, it's not like it's anything I'd be worried about, so it was absolutely fine. It's not really what I concentrated on.
Emilia Clarke: (on landing her first major role) You can't come out of drama school and think, 'It's all going to be amazing'. You have to expect to work in a bar for at least five years and be a waitress for maybe two! So it was a massive shock...a really good one though.
Emilia Clarke: (on learning the Dothraki language) I'd get the lines and map my English lines on top to get the intonations right. By the end it was second nature but if I got it even slightly wrong the whole thing would be cut and we'd have to start again.
Emilia Clarke: (on the way her character Daenerys loses her virginity) Of course they're daunting because I'm a young girl. It's not something you dream of doing but for me it was integral to the character.
