Emily C. Chang is an Emmy Award-winning performer, writer, and producer in television, theater, print, and film.
As an actress, Emily has been featured in dozens of TV commercials and short films and is continually in demand. She co-founded the national performance collectives, I Was Born with 2 Tongues and Mango Tribe, whose theatrical and touring productions she produced and performed in (1997-2005). She's received grants from the Rockefeller Foundation, the National Endowment of the Arts (Abrons Arts Settlement), and the Illinois Arts Council.
Emily was the host of The Lounge on iaTV, and has hosted food and travel segments for various programs, including Voyage TV's Signature Luxury Series. She is also co-host of the documentary series, China on the Frontlines with NPR/The Atlantic Monthly national correspondent James Fallows. She's served as staff producer and development executive at IATV, where she produced and directed a number of programs.
Emily is also a freelance writer and was Editor-In-Chief of the nationally distributed iaLink e-zine.
