Eric worked with Navi Rawat in 24's first season. Two years later they worked together again in The O.C.

Eric is an avid poker player.

Eric has stated that he is a huge fan of the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Eric injured his leg while filming The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The rope on a swing caught his leg and he was hanging upside-down by his leg for 20 minutes before people were able to free him.

Right before filming the 2003 film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Eric broke his hand in a fight.

When he was younger, Eric was allergic to cats and dogs. As of now, only the cat allergy is active.

Eric once co-owned a store in Hollywood called Lou Lou.

Eric has stated that one of his biggest musical influences is Prince.

Eric has stated that doing the scenes in the van in the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were very hard to do because the temperature outside was very hot and humid. He has stated that it got up to 140 degress inside of the van while shoooting at times.

When he was younger, Eric and his family spent a lot of time at Esalin, which he describes as "a hippy commune."

Eric grew up with his mother, Sharon, and his younger sister, Tori.

Eric is the lead singer of the band Born as Ghosts, formerly Fredalba.

Eric's favorite horror movie is The Exorcist.

Eric is an avid surfer and snowboarder.
