Eric Bogosian

This guy might be a very talented actor elsewhere but the character he depicts on CI is a lout with a big chip on his shoulder.



I lost track of CI for a bit while I pursued a new obsession with Billy Petersen on CSI. I came back and found this jerk in charge and what a major disappointment. How in the world did they figure this dictator into the picture? He completely disrespects Bobby and tries to ally Alex by telling her (and I mean TELLING HER) to "keep him in line". Give me a break.



It was disappointing enough when they brough in Noth and What's Her Face for part time reason's (that aren't completely clear to me) to replace "Goren" and "Eames". Now the show has dropped this bomb on to the CI sceen.



Is this show in it's death throws or what? How disappointing.

I think Eric Bogosian is a great addition to the show as Danny Ross. He brings an intensity and complexity to the character that was missing with Deakins, although I liked him a lot. Ross gives the appearance that there's a lot simmering under the surface .. but what? I hope the writers will do something with the character. The possibilities are there. Personally I think Bogosian is a very cool character and I'm glad he's on the show. He holds his own with D'Onofrio and Noth.

When alot of people hear the name Eric Bogosian they think of someone with scathing sarcastic comments about every topic in mainstream America, but that isn't the complete man. Eric is talented beyond measure and is a devoted family man. His Plays SubUrbia and Talk Radio are still as enduring now as they were when they first were penned by Eric. He is fully involved in every aspect of his career and is widely admired by those of us with enough imagination and intelligence to "get" his work. I have always admired those who were more not in the mainstream celebrity world because I think Britney Spears and Brad Pitt are overrated, and Eric is definitely not someone you would confuse with one of them, Thank God. His monologues are hard hitting, strong, sarcastic and sometimes offensive to those who can't see that he is just saying what alot of us are thinking. Cheers Mr. Bogosian! I think you are marvelous.

I don't like him in CI. In fact if he had been on CI before he would have been one of the creeps that Bobby would pester a confession from. TVguide magazine gave cheers to Dick Wolf for hirring him, but I say BOO!! I'm sure that he is a good actor, but it is his character on CI and just the way he portays his character. I also like Deakins, so that could be another reason. He sort of scares me and I think that he doesn't let Bobby do his thing. He rushes him and doesn't understand him like Deakins did.
