Hosting doesnt begin to describe the job that Evan Farmer does on While You Were Out. He wears so many hats. Always the on set court jester, frequent therapist to frustrated staff and even more frustrated homeowners. A ready, skilled carpenter and welder always waiting for a project;( that is if there are no children to play with; or no bodies of water near by)! Evan is particularly in his element when WYWO's episodes involve helping those whose lives have been touched by illness or loss. His most admirable quality is a caring ,empathic nature which is enjoyed by castmates, the families and viewers at home. Evan Farmer is simply one very good guy. Thanks Evan!
Evan Farmer seems like a genuine guy. Ever since he joined the cast, the chemistry seems to be better between everybody. There is a certain something about him that has me drawn to the show. The camera seems to do him justice. Many people can't pull off the job Farmer is pulling off. The previous host of the show didn't seem as interesting. In fact she was a bit boring to watch after a while. Overall he was a wise choice. He is a good looking guy with a great personality. Not only is he good looking with a personality but he carry's himself well. He has the confidence and charisma that many hosts lack.
I had the pleasure of meeting Evan this year. He was very accomodating and entertaining. Despite the fact that he was probably very tired from all of his travelling and work, he was very animated and kind to everyone he met. His voice is even sweeter in person. He really seems to love babies. He's very charitable and just a sweet person. Even my father liked him. He's got quite an interesting background and life story. Among his talents: singing, dancing, carpentry, welding, sewing, sound effects, and more. He's still learning to do more things. I've spoken to other castmembers from While You Were Out and they've all said how wonderful he is and how hard he works. Not many people with his income donate $10,000 to charity. I just can't say enough about how sweet he is-- but maybe I'm just biased.
Evan Farmer is so talented I don't think people give him enough credit! His best work was in MTV's program 2gether when he played "Jerry" and he has a lot to offer because he is multitalented! He not only is an actor, a singer, songwriter, producer, bu t he is also a co-host. He is every girl's dream date! If you ever see him perform live on stage you will be amazed at his melodic vocals and musical strenghts. He also contributes to many charities and helps fundraise money to help search for cures for cancer and many other diseases. Evan is a good man!
Evan is an underrated performer who needs his own show. He's got so much to offer. And he's drop-dead gorgeous! He carries "While You Were Out" with applomb - he makes sure everyone is included and recognized while down-playing his own role...a mark of modesty that I find very attractive.
