Evan felt compelled to make a statement to the press to refute rumors she was having an affair with The Wrestler co-star Mickey Rourke. Rumors had circulated that the pair were seen kissing at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Evan Rachel Wood (quoted regarding the matter): I'm not attracted to him, he's too old for me. It's pretty easy to stay out of that if you want to. There are other places. I really like being able to go out anywhere and nobody really cares.
