You may find sentences that you can't understand...



I've listened to a Japanese singer-songwriter's songs that seems to speak to my soul. (In Japan, she is famous by singing that sounds holy)

I felt it on Evanescence too. So I've been interested in them.



When for the first time I heard their song, HAUNTED, I couldn't understand English but I could get what they meant... I think the reasons are her voice and feeling put into the song. And I was surprised at the atmosphere of the song 'cos I had never heard such a song before I heard it! This song got me obsessed with Evanescence.



My favorite song is Tourniquet.

I can sympathize with her and this song saved me from lonely hesitation. I want to thank her.

evanescence's music is dark rock. it's what i love about this band. the doom & gloom ridden lyrics, stunning melodies, and the haunting & very passionate vocals of the lead singer amy lee captures what their music is all about. my all time favorite album is fallen coz it's so relatable. w/ the pounding drums & intricate guitars i'm always having a blast listening to this. breathe no more is my favorite song w/ it's sad lyrics & deeply moving piano. they're indeed a talented band. i just wish they'd never get tired of writing more songs that have dark lyrics. after all, every artists grow & they can't be always in that dark place. just the same i really admire them.

Ok, I loved your first CD, as did my mother. But then you cam out with the death in your second CD. It was all Electronic! O.o' (Well, to a point)



Many of your songs are too over done. But it is still great music. I listen to you on my i-pod at least twice a day. Hope that's alright.



My favorite song has to be Bring me to Life, then Whisper! ^^'



On the second disc, well- Snow White Queen and All that I'm living for. Nothnig else really seems to pop out at me. Sorry for that.

Evanescence is without a doubt the best band to ever rock planet Earth. Thier music is unique. It's like nothing I've ever heard. Which is a good thing because I've heard alot of crap! Amy Lee's voice is fanominal! She brings so much life into her voice. My favorite songs are(this is gonna be a long list) Going Under, Bring Me To Life, Everybody's Fool, My Immortal, Haunted Tourniquet, Imaginary, Taken Over Me, My Last Breathe, Call Me When Your Sober, Lithium, and Where Will You Go. Also one of my favorite songs is by Seether and it features Amy Lee. It's called Broken and if you haven't heard it you either have no taste in music or you have a life. I hate people who have a life! lol

As much as I like alternative rock, Evanescence is the most awesome one of all. The first song I've listened to is "Bring Me to Life", and it was great. I've heard about twenty songs from their albums. My favorite songs are Bring Me to Life, All That I'm Living For, Call Me When You're Sober, Cloud Nine, Everybody's Fool, Haunted, I Must Be Dreaming, Imaginary, Lithium, Lose Control, My Immortal, Sweet Sacrifice, Whisper, Your Star, The Only One, Solitude, Breathe No More, and My Last Breath. So far, I like Evanescence better than Linkin Park. However, Linkin Park is still one of my top ten favorite alternative rock bands. Amy Lee makes a great lead singer for Evanescence.

Bands like Evanescence don't come around too often. Their music is incredible and isn't depressing like many gothic bands. (Although I know many people will disagree with that, but it's just my opinion.) All of their songs have some reasoning behind them and tell a story with their beautiful lyrics. Their songs are not just mindless noise like so many other bands' songs. So far I love almost every Evanescence song I've heard. Mainly because Amy Lee is the singer. I have never heard a voice like hers. It's so strong and beautiful and amazing. It's so nice to listen to. Evanescence truly is a remarkable band.

I think that Evanescence is the best band for all time, it's the most favourite band of mine, very talented musicians, the soloist has the most beautiful woman voice i have ever heard!!! Great combination of strong rock and high woman's vocal! And various songs - from sincere, touching, sentimental music to strong rock, pressing on brains!! I love Gothic Style, beautiful clips, clothes... Amy Lee is a wonderful singer, talented, nicelooking, remarkable composer ... As i know, she writes music and some song texts too! Last album of this band was amazing, especially i liked 'Lithium' 'Sweet Sacrifice' 'Cal me when you are sober' 'All that i am living for' and so on... Wish prosperity to this great band and continue listening!`

Ever since I first heard Evanescence on the radio, I have been in love with their music. Their songs and lyrics are so real, heart-felt, emotional and beautiful. And Amy Lee's angelic vocals crossed with the band's rock is a perfect combination.

I cannot get enough of their music, thus, giving the band a rating of 10. I cannot go a day without their songs running through my head. Simply amazing.

And Amy Lee is one of my idols - such an inspiring musician and songwriter with a voice sent from heaven. I love all her work, and as much as I hate covers, she performs them beautifully, doing the original artists justice and then some.

However, I am glad that she performs her own songs these days, as she and the rest of the band have tremendous talent in writing and performing.

I hope they make another album after The Open Door. That would be great! Bravo.

Evanecense is the best band eva!! I swear!! I'm not kidding, Amy lee's voice is like no other that I have ever heard in my life. It's clear and amazing, it's alot better than some of those other American bands voices. I have all of their songs on my ipod, and i am anxiously waiting for them to come out with more. I can't wait! The band's sound in unique, like I said before, I never heard anything else like it, I love the vocals, and the band music in the back round. Amy Lee has the best voice I have heard in any band. Ever.

She is so talented, and her voice has the power to make me cry ("My Immortal"). I think one of the best examples of how brilliant this band can be has either got to be "Lies" (the vocals at the beginning are amazing, and I love the chorus) or "Whisper" (just the song in general is excellent). The lyrics in the songs are deep, but beautiful. My favourite song is "Everybody's Fool", because I love the lyrics. It's all about people being false, and rings true with many people that I know

("without the mask, where will you hide? Can't find yourself, lost in your lie" for example).

I don't really listen to rock music. However, with Evanescence, I'll make an exception. I mean, this band is so awesome. When I first heard about Evanescence, I thought at first "they're just another rock band...so what?!". Then I heard their album in my figure drawing class for the first time last year and I thought....not bad. Evanescence actually got me into rock and roll a bit. I really can't give too much of a review on this band because I just started listening to them. So far, I do like what I'm hearing though. I really look forward to hearing more from Evanescence in the future.

My best friend got me hooked on Evanescence. There songs have great lyrics and good instrumantal music. My favorite song would have to be "Call me When You're Sober". I also love "My Immortal" for the piano music [I play piano, so that;s why], "Going Under" and just about every other song. Another thing about Evansecence that I love is Amy Lee's voice. She has such a beautiful voice. It's so uniuqe [sp?]. She has so much talent, I don;t know why some people don't thinks so. Evanescence is my favorite band, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

I haven't heard every song on their new album, but I love the song Snow White Queen. I can't stop listening to it. The first song I ever heard by them was Bring Me To Life. I loved em then. Amy Lee has an amazing voice. The lyrics to their songs always sends chills up my spine. Then listening to them, they are just a wonderful group. "You belong to me, my Snow White Queen" When I first read that, I was like woah. I thought the title was cool and said maybe I need to listen to the song, I looked up the lyrics to it on songmeanings.net and now I'm listening to it. The lines in the songs are all so truthful "Perfect by nature, icons of self indulgence, just what we all need, more lies about a world that never was and never will be." One of my favorites,"I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone, but though you're still with me, I've been alone all along." The whole Imaginary song got to me, building your own world to escape. The Fallen Album was great, and Open Door is gonna be great.

Evanescence just continues to make fantastic songs. Their album, Fallen, is the best CD I own. The lead singer, Amy Lee, is beautiful and she sings with passion. Hearing her live is amazing.



This group is most likely the best gothic rock band on the planet. And if you're not into heavy music, there's songs like "My Immortal" and "Hello" which are soft rock.



The lyrics of their music has deep meaning and suits the songs and the band's style perfectly. And I'm very much looking forward to their new album, The Open Door, released Sept. 30 in Aust, and October 3 in the US. My fave songs include My Immortal, Lies, Even in Death and Call Me When You're Sober.



Overall Evanescence is an amazing musical group, whose songs I can never get out of my head, in a good way, and you will want to listen to them over and over... and over again.

From the soft, calm music of My Immortal to the hard rock of Going Under, this band is great. Evanescence is my favorite band of all time. They are amazing. Amy Lee has such a powerful voice. The guitars, drums, and piano are wonderfully played. The lyrics are great as well. Evanescence has such great talent and they love to do ehat they do. I also adore their music videos. They are so cool. My aunt and I talk about Evanescence a lot. We tell each other our favorite songs and let each other know when we hear a new song by them on the radio. We are Evanescence fanatics. Call Me When Your Sober is a great song that is on their next album, The Open Door. I can't wait until it comes out.

This is my all time favorite band. i listen to them, like everyday, multiple times. it refelects my attitude and isn't too cheery like some of those scary songs. Some are calm and some are rock and it always suits a good time.



Amy Lee has a wonderful voice and the band is awesome. The lyrics fit along with the music and the songs are always nice for me to listen to. no matter how much i hear them i never get bored.

Evanescence is the BEST band out there today because there music is the rely deal.Amy Lee(the lead singer)loves what she dose and cares about here fans so much.When ben moody left the band(wich was the worst mistake in his LIFE)Amy Lee still keap the show on the road by haveing a new meber in EV come in the band.I don`t know his name,but I`m sure it will still be same evanescence or better.Evanescence has great lyric and the best thing about evanscence is there relly not hoging the spot light like most arist do when they get the attension.I tell you even if you hate rock you will love evanescence.Trust me.Pluse I can not wait for there new album on october 3!!

Evanescence has to be the greast goth band in the world! I mean just listen to their music, and tell me that they are the best. I love their music, its so rockin'! I cannot belive that they are not making any music anytime soon! My favorite out of all of them would have to be Amy Lee, she's so cool. But the rest are cool too. WHats not to love a bout this band, they will rock forever!

The band's lyrics are pretty well constructed, they kind of match up to 'Linkin Park'. Overall, they are pretty talented and display a lot of emotion and drama. Don't really know what to say except that they are very talented, which is why I gave then a 10. Good luck with future albums!
