Evon (Yvonne) Murphy is a singer/actor/writer from Los Angeles, California who started her career by being a Bachelorette on 'The Dating Game' in 1972, then landed the lead role of Nancy in 'Oliver' at the Wiltern Theatre in Beverly Hills. She has appeared in T.V. shows such as MACGYVER, 21 JUMP ST., DUE SOUTH, MURPHY'S LAW, SAVE THE CHILDREN (MOVIE OF THE WEEK ON CBS), MADONNA-INNOCENCE LOST(MOVIE OF THE WEEK ON FOX), DIVORCE COURT, ST. ELSEWHERE(2 EPISODES), MISSING TREASURES(CANADA)

Evon was a lead performer in many Musical Theater productions at the San fernando Valley Dinner Theater Troupe, including 'Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Gypsy and Anything Goes.  Evon was featured as the National Anthem Singer at NBA, NHL and CFL games as well as performing her own original tunes on the Cerebral Palsy Telethon (John Ritter) as well as her own 'one woman shows' at 'Carlos and Charlie's' on Sunset Blvd, Hollywood and 'the rose tattoo' in West Hollywood. Evon has been featured as a vocalist/actor in National Commercials and guest soloist across Canada and the U.S.

Evon was a Vocal/Drama teacher with the Ontario York Region School Board as a "Creative Movement Teacher' for the 'Artist in the School' program in York Region Schools.

Evon has been trained by Brad Chapman (Seth Riggs Method), John Hertert Vocal Trainiing (Los Angeles), and The Divisek Commercial Workshop, Los Angeles, Ca.
