Frank Sinatra

My father named Roberto Estrada died on Monday, September 26th, 2011 and I wanted to make a review dedicated to my father. What can I say? Frank Sinatra has always been one of my father's favorite singers and he has heard and loved every single of his songs. My dad's all-time favorite Frank Sinatra song is definitely "New York". I love to listen to this singer as well. My dad and I love to listen to this singer together whether it's just watching his music videos on his laptop, listening to his music while we're in the car, or anywhere else. It's not only my dad who loved Frank Sinatra but everyone else in my family loves to listen to his music. I have heard every single music from Frank Sinatra and I must say that his music is so wonderful. Frank Sinatra really knows how to make very good music. I have not heard one horrible song from Frank Sinatra and neither has my father. All of Frank Sinatra's songs are just incredible. If you have never listened to Frank Sinatra or even heard of him then you should look him up on YouTube or other websites, his music is so amazing. Like I said, my dad's all-time favorite Frank Sinatra song is definitely "New York". I miss my father and I know that he will always be in my heart so everytime I listen to Frank Sinatra's music, I will always think of my father since Frank Sinatra is one of his favorite singers. He is one of my favorite singers as well. Overall, Frank Sinatra is a wonderful singer and I have never heard one horrible song from him. 10/10

Honestly, how can one describe Frank Sinatra? He just is the best. All his records...all his covers...they're just beautiful. His albums have gotten me through all my positive and negative moments, through all my dramas, comedies, and romances. He played love interests and comedic roles well. He entertained me in every film and makes me happy each and every time I hear him crooning. His rendition of Fly Me to the Moon may very well be my favorite romantic ballad. I know that he can't be credited with writing some of my favorites..."I've Got You Under My Skin" (that honor goes to Cole Porter) and "My Way" and "Three Coins in a Fountain" but I don't care because he is simply the voice that brings these songs to life.

Adored by millions around the world, his is a voice that is instantly recognizable. Considered by many to be THE voice of the 20th Century, people tend to forget that there was more to Frank Sinatra than just the way he was able to tell a story with his renditions of songs.

Making a successful transition from music halls and radio to movies and television is not an easy thing to do.

Even through the rough patch that Frank went through, where music companies would not consider releasing his albums, and directors would not even give him a chance to audition for roles, he fought tooth and nail to get back to the top, and when he got there, he never lost his footing again.

Releasing some of the same songs repeatedly over the course of his career, no two sound exactly the same, just as no two live performances were exactly the same.

No matter what your mood, or what phase of your life you are in, Frank is there to help guide you through it.

Frank Sinatra's passing in May of 1998 has left a void in the entertainment world that I fear will never be filled. He put his heart and soul into everything he did.
