In his one-man show "Possessed", Frank Woodley sings the line "everyone get up and dance." During his last performance of the show (Brisbane, 28th September, 2008), audience members got up and danced after the line. Frank said it was the first time, in over 120 performances, that anyone had ever danced during the song.
2008 - Frank is performing in a one-man show, entitled "Possessed". In it, Frank plays a man possessed by the ghost of an Irish woman. This show is touring Australia and the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
During the mid-Eighties, Frank was a part of a comedy trio called The Found Objects.
During late 2007, and continuing through 2008, Woodley has appeared in a series of comedic advertisements for the Metlink transport system in Melbourne, Victoria. He primarily advertises buses, and sings a song entitled, I Highly Recommend You Get On The Bus.
Frank admits that he would turn gay for Rolf Harris.
Frank's nickname in high school was "Franga."
Frank has performed a gag where he intimately sucks on Colin Lane's finger, more than 10,000 times.
As of 2008, Frank is doing a solo show, known as Possessed debuting at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Since his solo career started, this is his first national show.
Another of Frank's plays with Colin Lane was Bruiser. This skit followed Lano and Woodley's despair at being scrawny and weak, and their efforts to bulk up at a gym.
In 2006, Frank regularly appeared on the improvisational show Thank God You're Here. The show involved the actor/comedian/entertainer walking through a door into an unknown world and improvising the scene.
Frank's 2004-2005 show with Colin Lane was entitled The Island. The comedy sketches, songs and audience interactions were based around the duo being stranded on a desert island.
Frank's 2006 comedy show is titled Goodbye, and is the farewell show for his duo with Colin Lane. Amusingly, the show lasted close to a year.
In 2006, Frank and Colin announced they were going to "call it a day" after 20 years together, and will be focusing on their solo careers.
Frank, with Colin Lane, appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Gala 2006 for the last time (as a duo). They did their sleeping bag dance.
During the Melbourne Comedy International Gala 2006, Colin Lane held an impromptu vote to find out who the audience prefered - him or Frank. Frank won. By lots.
Frank says his favourite gig was in London's West End, after winning the Perrier award. During the show, a moth flew on stage and he and Colin included it in their show, naming the moth Byron. Later on, when things were a bit flat, the boys blamed the moth, stating this was when he normally came on. Amazingly, the moth promptly flew back on stage.
In 2004, Frank won the Melbourne Comedy Festival Short Film Award.
Once Lano and Woodley finish, Frank has stated he would like to become more involved with filmmaking and solo standup.
Frank has released an album with Colin Lane, entitled Lano and Woodley Sing Songs.
In 1994, Frank and Colin Lane were awarded the coverted Perrier Pick of the Fringe Award - the unofficial Oscar of comedy - at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
