While going to high school in Los Angeles, Galen tagged along with a friend to a hair salon, where he was asked to model for their ad.
Galens most embarrasing moment is when he was going to rescue Sheridan (Mckenzie Westmore) and ran straight into the door and cut his nose and nearly knocked himself out.
When asked is there anything you don't like about acting or is it all pretty cool, he said "It's a great job, there's a downside to everything. It can be physically and emotionally draining after long days. And even if you're tired, if the scene calls for you to be in
a different frame of mind, you really have to work to go there".
Best friends on the set: James Hyde (Sam), Dalton James (Hank) and Travis Schuldt (Ethan). Galen has known James Hyde for about 6 years. They met in Miami when Galen was directing two films in which James appeared. He says "It's ironic they ended up on the same show together".
