    I agree. I love them all! He's just fantastic. The typical Singin in the Rain and An American in Paris stand out but, if I'm honest, his films with Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland are my ultimate favs. I love Summerstock and Take Me Out to the Ball Game...I should just list his filmography.

    I don't get the comparison to Fred Astaire all the time. They're great in their own right but Gene Kelly is by no means any the lesser.

    However, I don't know if we need more guys like him. I'll take any character he played but, in real life, according to a documentary I saw, he was a bit of a cad.
