George Clooney

I just don't like him - and I don't care who agrees or disagrees. I hated him the moment I laid eyes on him. I'm not going to deny that he's great actor and has done quite impressive work but I just don't like him. He holds no appeal to me and I would hesitate to watch a movie in which he is headlined as the main star. I think it has alot to do with him ruining Batman for me - He starred as Batman in one of the first batman films I'd even seen growing up and I hate him for it...Batman wasn't cool when Clooney played him. Michael Keaton HELL even Val Kilmer did a better job.

He is not Actor!!!He just cute!!!That's All.

Clooney showed some early promise, but has failed miserably since then. Sure, he's a handsome and he's got a good gravelly voice, but he fails to appeal to a broad spectrum of America.

Part of it is he's not a real man's man. And part is he is so politically preachy. Nothing's more annoying than to have some sanctimonious moron actor lecture the world about politics. Ugh.

Clooney comes across as smug and condescending, which limits his appeal.

George Clooney is an amazing and talented actor. My mom used to think he was the hottest guy on the planet, so she forced my sister and I to watch a bunch of his movies with her once when we were little. He's handsome, but I don't let that get in the way of my opinion of him. Although I don't really care for the work he does in shows, his movies are fantastic! My favorite movies of his include: One Fine Day, Ocean's Eleven, and Ocean's Twelve. He works extremely well with Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, in my opinion. That's why I can't wait to see Ocean's Thirteen.

Before I saw From Dusk Till Dawn I always saw Clooney as a typical pretty boy from Hollywood. But after I saw him in this movie, I noticed that there was more to him than meets the eye. When I actually took the time to take a look at his portfolio, I noticed some very good titles in there. Clooney is also a very versatile actor, he's not an actor who keeps grinding the same type of parts over and over again.

I first fell in love with George Clooney when he was in ER. I had the ultimate teenage crush on Doug Ross, the sight of him in those blue scrubs made me melt! I think I can blame Doug Ross for the start of my TV obsession, I used to sitw glued to the screen every week waiting for my fix of Doug! Obviously, as so many other fans, I was devastated when he left ER, but ultimately it was the best thing George Clooney could do for his career.



If you ignore Batman, his films have gone from strength to strength. I also love how he is brave enough to take on parts in the less commercialized films. Out of Sight and Solaris are my favourites but I do love his part in O Brother, Where Art Thou?.



I hope he doesn't spend too much time directing in the future, I'd miss him on the big screen!

What else can you say about George Clooney other than that the man is a wonderful actor? He has pulled off every type of role imaginable from comedy to drama to action and he nails each one. My favorite film that he's starred in was "Ocean's Eleven."

George Clooney is a really good actor that knows how act in some different kind of manner. He is a good director and he is definitely a good actor, I love him in Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Eleven, and movies like on Batman and Robin and The Thin Red Line and those kind of movies. They were awesome.

Not only does the man possess great acting ability from Tv to present movies, he also has one of the most generous hearts in the world. I am impressed by his concern over important issues and not just the superficial issues that many become involved in today. I admire his stand on pertinent topics and his dedication to making a difference and not because he wants to be recognized but that he cares about results. Here is hoping that George continues to be around for many years and is happy and at peace and surrounded by people who are true friends and care about him. Thanks for all you do for everyone you touch.

Clooney is a phenomenal actor and director. I loved him on ER and in to many movies for me to list. He is my favorite actor by far. Even with his skill he is still very grounded. He also doesn't resort to publicity stunts to help his career. He's famous because of his talent. He doesn't even worry about what he says or showing his views. He just gives you the feeling that he has absolutly nothing to hide. And on top of all that you have to admit he's still as handsome as ever!

This amazing actor makes me like him more every time I see his movies. He is great. Before seeing him act I thought he was famous just for being cute (wich he is) but when I saw an episode of ER with him on, I had n doubt that he was not just a pretty face. I think he has developed is career in a very smart way, trying different things. Acting in series, movies, producing, and directing.



He has a lot of fans, and everyone knows him. All generations. He is exelent, he has something that makes you wanna watch all his movies. And his smile is the best :D

I love the trivia for Greoge Clooney. You guys left out that he was the hand man in Facts Life. He one the talent cast memeber orignal er cast member. Even though he also weaver. I love is character doctor Ross. Since Friends end Er is been best on nbc. Even episode where best.

If I were told I could only ever watch one star for the rest of my life - George Clooney would be it!



I first fell in love with him when I saw him on ER. Now I wasn\'t very old back then (13 years or so) but man oh man did he leave a mark. At first he was just a pretty face, but it didn\'t take long for me to realize that this was a man to keep a close eye on.



Over the years I\'ve watched him grow as an actor and lately turn into a director and I have to say that he is the golden standart to which I hold every other actor or actress I see both on the small and big screen.

George Clooney is just like a movie star from the Golden Era. He seems as if he could fit right in with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and the rest of the Rat Pack. He is very suave. He is believable in all his roles, which is a credit to his acting skills. Even when he is not acting in movies, he is very likeable. He is very witty, funny, and intelligent. He is also a very skilled director and actor. He is also an social activist, which is very admirable because he is risking his image to the public. I think that he is definitely someone you should check out.

Well very talent actor, director, writer - George Clooney does it all and very well. He has recently been nominated at the Oscars and Golden Globes (and other award shows) for his efforts and won a few.



I first saw George as Dr Ross on ER, the lovable and charming doctor and he has since moved on to bigger and better things on and off camera.



Living the bachelor life George Clooney has been voted "sexiest man alive" and when you see his smirky smile you can see why so many people (women) find him so hard to resist.



I also largely admire his charity work and commitment to help those in need.

How can we get this man to run for president? How can we the common people even send him an email?

This guy has the smarts to produce and direct what had to be a difficult show to do, especially as it criticized some of the very folks who let him produce it.

I'm speaking of "Good Night and Good Luck"



George Clooney criticized the corporate morons who rule us and got away with it.

Wow....what a man. He and Alec Baldwin should run on a double ticket. Couldn't do our country any worse than Reagan and Ahnold.

I really like George Clooney, I was so happy when his career finally took off with ER, after so long of liking him and thinking he was cute, I first noticed him on FActs of Life, so it took a while, he is a good actor I haven't seen him in a movie or show that I didn't like him

I didn't really like Clooney when it came to ER. But then again, I didn't really watch ER much at all. I really enjoyed From Dusk 'Til Dawn, his character was pretty well written, and he played it pretty well. I saw Confessions of a Dangerous Mind on a lark, simply because everything else out that night was boring looking. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I loved the soundtrack, and liked the movie's plot and pacing. Then to find out that Clooney directed the movie was a shock to me. I've since been looking at alot of his movies. The Cohen film O' Brother Where Art Thou? is an excellent movie and another notch on the belt of the Cohen Brothers (sans Intolerable Cruelty). I'm looking forward to Syriana.

I like most people are getting sick of actors trying to force their opinions on people, and who think just because they have people kissing their ass all day that when they speak about topics, that they speak for everyone. This is why people aren't seeing Hollywood movies, and George Clooney although he is a big one isn't even one the worst ones doing that right now.

He worked his way through The Facts of Life (as George) and Roseanne (as Booker) before really making a name for himself on the hit series ER (playing Dr. Doug Ross). Now, with a long string of blockbuster movie hits under his belt, no one can say he's riding on the family name. Like a fine wine, the hunky actor only gets better with age. From The Perfect Storm to Ocean's Eleven to Batman, the talented actor has proven that he can make any role come to life. May this leading man's star continue to shine for many years to come.
