Underrated and very talented for someone that was quiet and

Laid back as John was smart, Paul was cute, and Ringo(my favorite) was the funny one. But he also was probably the least popular of the group. Miss him but I got his cd with one of my favorite songs "What is life!" Great Beatle to the end!

One of the best people ever. It's really a shame he was overshadowed by Paul and John because George was simply amazing. He could write songs of such beauty (Here Comes the Sun, Something, Taxman) that even Lennon admitted were as good as Paul and his. He is uncredited in his guitar play, simply astounding. He has that voice that coud calm anybody down. He tried to keep the Beatles together, and kept in touch with them after the Breakup, playing with Starr and Lennon, keeping a friendship with McCartney. Having a very successful solo career, including such greats as Dark Horse and All things Must Pass. He organized the first ever charitable concert in his Concert for Banladesh in 1971.

He disserves a 10.

George blows my mind. He is just so amazing. He looked at life in such a great, wonderfull, positive way. His music is poetic, smart and fun. He played guitar wonderfully.



I love everything he ever did. There are no words to express the way i feel about george harrison. We all miss him, as well as his mind blowing talent, true music, and positive soul.

When people discuss the Beatles, they go on about Lennon and McCartney but I really like talking about George. He was the best guitarist of the four. Though early on, there was no room for George to write songs. He came with the odd classic 'Here comes the sun' and 'Something' (famously sang by Frank Sinatra though he said it was a Lennon/McCartney song). When the Beatles split, he got the first number one with the classic 'My sweet Lord' and a legendary album 'All things must pass'. If you watch 'A Concert for George' and 'A concert for Bangladesh', you see how great he is. The fact that he is referred to as the 'Quiet Beatle' makes me connect to him as I'm quiet too. My favourite Beatle!

I knew that George Harrison was a great guy when I recently saw the Concert for Bangladesh dvd. How many guys will do a concert like this? George actually did and it was great. I know that he and Ravi Shankar were good friends and that\'s so cool. George was an awesome musician and more importantly he was a man with a good heart. The Concert for Bangladesh was such a great special. The way that great artists like Ringo, Ravi Shankar, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan were able to help the poor people of Bangladesh it was so amazing. The most favorite memory I have of the concert would have to be George singing \"Here comes the Sun.\" He had such an incredible voice, just like all the other Beatles. It was such a shame that he died in 2001 because of Cancer. He was one of the all time great musicians and I know I say this alot but he was also a great person.
