george lucas know for doing really well done things such as some of my fav movies starwars and indiana jones. he has produced starwars which is proble his biggest movies he has done it has spawed of to go to tv shows comics and toys and other things starwars has become a iconic series and indiana jones about the same thing to me george lucas does excelent and top of the line things he trys to make every thing fit in and go right. but it may cause trouble but that is just the way he is. starwars and indiana jones have made hundreads of millions over the years and it made us think what can be acoplised by one person if we put our minds to it thank you george lucas

It's hard to give a single rating to George Lucas. Really, I'd want to rate his early work as excellent and, ideally, just ignore his work of the past decade.

I can't deny his genius in birthing Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and American Graffiti. But, at the same time, it's hard to ignore the hideous Star Wars prequel movies he's made recently.

I prefer to focus on the extraordinary films Lucas made in the 70s and 80s, which will be part of cinematic history forever.

As my summary says, I love this guy. He is so talented! He did my favorite movie series of all time: STAR WARS!! He also did great doing the "Indiana Jones" series. My favorite Star Wars episodes are Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi. Last week, I saw Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It was great! It was like Star Wars, but not in space. I enjoyed it anyway. I hear that he's going to make a CGI series called "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" this year. I can't wait for it! I'm so excited to see it!

my favorite director is the one i am reviewing right now. This man is pure genius. He directed all the star wars movies, They were my favorites and Indiana Jones another great series. This man is brilliant!

Lucas brought two of the most memorable movie franchises ever, but has lost much talent in directing. If you notice, the older Star Wars films were much better than the newer. Other than that, he's great. Hopefully it'll be old George working on Indy 4, not new George.

He brought us Star Wars and worked on Indiana Jones. That's enough for the Cinema Hall Of Fame right there.

One of the best movie minds ever. I beleive that George Lucas has the greatest movie mind ever. Who could have come up with something as complex as Star Wars. The movie is awsome, the force lightsbers darth vader who else could have thought up something like that. I also enjoyed Indyanna Jones. All three were fantastic he picked the perfect acters. The movie was so creative and so just likeawsome. In a good way George Lucas is the father of the nerds. He is also one of the fathers of Movies. Any Movie that he has one is good so watch it.

George Lucas is perhaps one of the Greatest Movie Directors of all time, just next to Steven Spielberg. But his movie series Star Wars is the greatest movie ever made in history. His six part movie series are the greatest movies ever envisioned. They charm the audience in ways that no other movies can. If there was a best movie ever made, Star Wars will always be on top. Indiana Jones can stand side by side with Star Wars, but Star Wars will always be the best one. If the only thing that can scratch a diamond is another diamond, then a Star Wars movie is the only one that can beat another Star Wars movie.

George Lucas, whatever criticism he might get for his more recent projects, is a film making genius. The original Star Wars trilogy and the Indiana Jones trilogy redefined the film making world and will be considered cinema classics for decades, even centuries to come. Lucas's mastery in the art of morality tales is astounding. The originality and entertainment his stories bring as well as his ability to use elements of basic human story telling to produce the fabric of his amazing universe's are part of the reason why he is so talented. Oscar nominations, A life time achievement award, all time top earners, a media empire of his own and a die hard fan base are just some of the things that Lucas has achieved in his lifetime. He created the infamous villain, Darth Vader, and the definitive anti-hero Han Solo. Lucas, the storyteller of the century!

George Lucas is by all means my favorite movie director, a guy with such a vivid imagination that could come up with such masterpieces, like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Both sagas are great, but Star Wars is my all-time favorite. The fact that everything that goes in to his movies like sound effects, etc are from his own company make the movies even better.

George Lucas who is best known for his Star Wars movies, is one of my favourite directors (or story tellers). The Star Wars films are among my favourite, in which he has created his own galaxy with a collection of unforgettable characters. With Star Wars George Lucas changed the way we looked at movies, he developed new technologies and pushed the boundaries of technology (even with his last star wars film revenge of the sith).



George Lucas is not only the creative mind behind the Star Wars Saga; he also wrote the story for the indiana jones movies and willow.



Although all the other films and projects that Lucas (and his companies) were involved with, the Star Wars Saga remains his best work. Those movies will stand the test of time and I believe can be enjoyed for years to come; as at their core they deal with the epic struggle between good and evil (light and dark).



George Lucas through his movies has changed the movie making industry (I would say for the better) and given us movies that are great (and soon will be bringing us a star wars live action TV show).

I have seen all six Star Wars movies and all three Indiana Jones movies. I think George Lucas did a great job making Star Wars and helping Spielburg make Indiana Jones. I am looking forward to the fourth Indiana Jones movie in 2007 and I am looking forward to the Star wars Episode III DVD in November this year. Without George Lucas, none of these new special effects that were introduced in Star Wars would be possible.
