    • George: (on the death of Osama bin Laden) I didn't...feel any great sense of happiness. Or jubilation. I felt a sense of closure. And I felt a sense of gratitude that justice had been done.

    • George W. Bush: (on the support of his wife during his Presidency) Laura provides great comfort. She reminds me of realities, like "Hey, buddy, you volunteered to do this job!" Oftentimes, Presidents fall prey to self-pity. There's nothing more pathetic than self-pity. Laura has been very good about bolstering my spirits.

    • George W. Bush: (on Barack Obama succeeding him as the President in 2008) I wanted John McCain to win, but once the verdict was in, I was pleased about this. A lot of people in America did not think they'd ever see an African-American President, and they were elated to see Barack Obama elected. I think that's good for the country, that people now have renewed faith in the system.

    • George W. Bush: Look, I've been popular and not so popular. But the thing that matters most in life is not one's popularity but their principles. I am not going to sacrifice my principles on the altar of popularity. If you chase popularity, you'll be a lousy President. If you make decisions based on sound principles, then you've done your job.

    • President Bush: As Americans, we want peace - we work and sacrifice for peace. But there can be no peace if our security depends on the will and whims of a ruthless and aggressive dictator. I'm not willing to stake one American life on trusting Saddam Hussein.

    • President Bush: Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.

  • I don't know if he is a spoiled brat but I know that he sucks at being a president.

    1.0
George W. Bush, in my opinion, is the worst president ever and I have my reasons why he is. First of all, he focuses way too much the war in Iraq and plus he uses our tax money to buy more weapons when us, the people in the United States need it. Second, the economy crisis thanks to him that happened then may people who are working are getting less money and what makes this worse is that a lot people are losing jobs and there are people who want to get jobs but they mostly don't get the job which really sucks.

Overall, George W. Bush is the worst president and he shouldn't even be our president, I mean its ridicilous that someone like him can make the United States which he is not doing at all. I gave props for that guy that throw a shoe at him but if only it really hit him, it would have been better. Well anyways this is my opinion and I have a feeling that Barack Obama will be a way better president that him, he needs to change a lot of negative things that President Bush did, if he does then the United States will be better.moreless
