Georgina: (on her daytime wardrobe) I'm obsessed with John Galliano, and Alexander McQueen is a gee-nee-us. I like to wear a vintage dress with a Topshop biker jacket and high-heel boots. Or a pair of jeans with a Pucci blouse, or a Chanel jacket and a T-shirt. I like Acne or 7 for All Mankind jeans the best. For T-shirts, I love James Perse.
Georgina: (on asking business advice from her husband) Of course. I'm a designer, not a businesswoman. Harvey reminds me to think outside the box. He's not about rules.
Georgina: (on her inspiration Marchesa Luisa Casati) She lived such a fantastic life. She literally saw herself as a living work of art.
Georgina: (on her dressing suite in their New York City townhouse) I wanted it to be tranquil and soft, a place where I could enjoy getting dressed.
Georgina: (on her and business partner Keren Craig having different approaches in fashion) We're a great combination-we complement each other very well.
Georgina: (on the people who threw her a bachelorette party) They put me in a pink cowgirl outfit and taught me how to lasso, which is a good thing when you're getting married. It teaches you how to keep your man.
Georgina: (on the second anniversary of her fashion label Marchesa) I'm not one to ever celebrate my birthday, but this is the birthday of Marchesa.
Georgina: I love imagining being someone else in another time.
Georgina: (on her reaction to skeptics who think her success is owed to husband and movie mogul Harvey Weinstein) It's all right, you know. It's fine. If anybody looks at how Harvey dresses, they realize he doesn't have terribly much to do with designing.
Georgina: (on jewelry) I love it, but I'm not very good at keeping it. I'm always leaving things in hotels.
Georgina: I look for anything that's unusual, that I feel like I'm never going to see again. I'm like a magpie: I love anything that sparkles.
