Growing up as a kid, Ginger Spice used to be my favorite Spice Girl. I thought she was really hot and she stood out from the other Spice Girls. These days she isn't my favorite anymore, but she still is one of my two favorites. I have a lot of respect for Geri Halliwell, not only as a music artist, but as a person. After seeing many early videos of before the Spice Girls were famous, I got a whole new respect for what she and the group have accomplished. She was the one who was the unoffical leader of the group. People say there wasn't one, but to be honest, she pushed everyone to make it big. Geri Halliwell was the one to lead the Spice Girls into dumping their original manager and sign with well known manager Simon Fuller. She also was the one who came up with most of the lyrics to their hits songs before she left and was a big influence to their success. When she left the Spice Girls, the group was never the same. They had a few hits after her departure, but they seemed like they were just going through the motions. I was happy to see her back with the group with their reunion tour and it brought back a lot of memories. She looked really good, just as hot as she was in her prime. I had a crush on her back then, and I guess I still have one on her now. Thank you Geri, you have my respect. Thank You.
