Gillian Anderson is a superb actress and is such a beautiful person, most well known as Agent Dana Scully from The X-Files. Her portrayl of Scully was staggering, particularly during the storyline where Scully had cancer. She brought sexy back for red heads!! The on-screen chemistry she had with David Duchovny was fantastic and remains to this day one of the most sizzling relationships in Television history. Gillian Anderson is a beautiful woman with a big heart.Gillian recently auctioned off tons of Scully original merchandise.She donates them to her charity.Gillian burst onto the screen making her name known as Dana Scully on the X-Files.Her onscreen relationship between her and David Duchovny was the ideal tv courtship.During the filming of the X-Files she gave birth to her first childShe then burst on to the silver screen as her infamous role in,X-Files:Fight the Future..After 9 years on the infamous cult classic,Gillian moved back to London,England,her home town.There she starred in a England tv series,Bleack House as Lady Dedlock.In 2006 she played Sarah,wife of Dr.Merrit in,The Last King of Scotland.Then in 2008 she reprised her role as Special Agent Dana Scully in the X-Files sequal,X-Files:I Want To Believe.Gillian is currently working on three movies:Boogie Woogie,o One Gets Off In This Town,and The Smell Of Apples.

I think Gillian is a wonderful actress and the fact that she is moving on from tv to the Theather makes her even more admiring to me. Going from one type of acting to another is not easy especially if your type casted as something and after playing Dana Scully all these years I could understand why she would want to move on.



I was thrilled when the new X Files movie finally came out and I love that she and David still work well with each other especially after all these years.

Gillian Anderson, is one of the most talented actresses I haveseen in years. She has it all, the looks the talent and the know-how. She came to fame as Special Agent Dana Scully in The X-Files 15 years ago. She has now become one of the most well known and well loved actresses of our time. After The X-Files finished its last season run on mainstream telivision in 2002 she shunned TV starting to work on stage and eventually in films. She has produced an episode of The X-Files and directed too. Anderson knows what she is doing when it comes to showbusiness. As far as we X-Philes are concerned, she is a gift that shoud never be forgotten!

Her role as Agent Dana Katherine Scully is beyond praise, she is magnificent. She is smart, sexy, hot, intelectual, passionate, cute, pretty, funny, sizzling, strong, independent, sweet, fragile, beautiful... Everything a female specimen should be! If i where Mulder i would have taken her straight to bed the moment i met her. Jesus man! just sleep with her, cant you see she is asking(begging) you to do so! Sleep with Scully or else the aliens are gonna abduct her and rape her!!! LOL!



Well, back to Gillian she is a very talented actress. She is very underrated, desrves allot more critical recognition.

She's an amazing actress with many talents. I've loved her for a long time now. She's a great person, and a funny one at that. Her work on the X-Files was just amazing. She can play any character, any role, and still be amazing at it. She is what i look for in a good actress. Gillian is definately the definition of a great actress. I am proud she one a golden globe and an emmy a while back. She so deserves any award that she gets nominated for. She plays tricky roles, and does her own thing and puts her own unique style into the character. That's what makes me fall in love with each and every character she portrays.

I first saw Gillian in The X-Files (of course;)) and I found her absolutely stunning there. As a big XF fan, I simply adores Scully`s character and such differnce between the character and the actress herself. Later, When I saw "House of Mirth", "Playing by heart", "Chicago cab", "The Mighty", "Last king of Scotland" and "Bleak House", I came to conclusion that she is a very talented actress who can play any imaginable character. I aprecciate her choices of roles because she doesn`t choose them to make sure she will be famous, but from her own desire to play various and complexed characters. I also like her private devotion to family and charity, I like her humour and nostly, I consider her as one of the most brilliant actresses that exist in this very moment.

Like I said she is great actress, one of my best. I really liked her in The X files, as Dana Scully, and it is so great that she is going to be in the new movie of X files. Can't wait. The way she acts and look, and her attitude is example for all those actors who are coming. Gillian is very funny person and I just enjoy watching her in all kinds of TV shows, because she makes me laugh with her great sense of humor every time.

And, I think that her blond hair is better then red! Really great actress :))

I love Gillian's work mainly one the X Files. I think she protrayed Agent Dana Scully fantasticly and truly brought the charactor to life. She acted so good over the nine years of the X File's. Gillian also wrote on the X Files for one episode and even directed it. I think that Gillian put a lot of work into the X Files and she should be remembered for it. Even her work on Bleak House was amazing. She probably is my favourite TV actress of all time. Its a shame she does not want to do mroe work on TV but none years on one show is fasntastic.

She's been brilliant in absolutely every role I've ever seen her play. She doesn't appear much in the USA anymore, but she's still pretty well known for her earlier role as Dana Scully. She had fantastic body language in all her roles and manages to give each character a very unique voice. I personally think she's one of the best.

Gillian Anderson is one of my favorites. However I'm not familiar with other of her acting-performance, but in The X-files she was really outstanding! I'm gladd that Chris Carter could have convinced the executives of FOX Television... they were saying that she was to radiance and had no sex-appeal! Well, like usualy FOX Television was wrong! Gillian did a wonderful acting as Dana Scully and shined like a star.



What I really kike from her is that she always stood with her two feet on the ground. Never floating on her succes and never try to take advances of it. She kept it down to earth and that makes her a nice person.

Gillian anderson has to be one the actressess that i have respect for the most. she has done a great job on the x-files and here other projects. me personally i felt that she played the role of dana scully to perfection. she hit all of the parts when she had to emotional, angry, skeptical it did not matter she played that part perfectly. i liked her alot in other movies that she has been in. i know that alot of people could look up to her young our of elder age but she is one role model that i know people could understand and truly look up to

My Mulder. Yes, I know that David has been in many other things (all of which I have seen, most of which I own.) But no matter what I see him in, I always picture the monotone man who said that he wants to believe. X-Files was the first show that I watched religiously and it was mostly because of David. When he get married I wore black in protest for a week. So I am anxiously awaiting the next X-Files movie that has been “in the works” for a while. So in the famous words of Bree Sharp “And I can't wait anymore for him to discover me, I got it bad for David Duchovny, David Duchovny, why won't you love me? Why won't you love me?”

More Than Talented Gillian Anderson is a wonderfull actress, a great person, her work on The X files was just perfect, she working with David duchoviny was the best, she is great as writer and director too, I remember watching All Things, the episode that she wrote and it was really nice, she is amazing.

What can I say about Gillian Anderson except WOW! she is such an amazing talent. I first saw Gillian on the X-Files which I must say is one of my favorite shows. I thought she was so great as Scully and her chemistry with David on the show was wonderful. I was sad to see the show end but I have been able to get my Gillian fix from other places so its all good. I dont know if she will return to TV anytime soon but I sure hope if she does it will be in another show kind of like the X-Files.

I thought that she was the perfect Dana Scully and a great role modle. But it was a shame that after the x-files, no one realy hairded cause she was a tpye actrist. That she had to resort to doin porm that was a real shame, cause she is such a great actist. I only saw her in that one show the x-files but I still think she played it well, cause alot of the real actist and actor wind up in real live having a relasionship with the co stars, and she was great cause they did and still were able to act it out perfectly.

Gillian Anderson has been my favorite actress since I fell in love with The X-Files some ten years ago. Her portrayal of Dana Scully was absolutely brilliant as she brought a character to life who was an amazing role model for women, young and old alike. In addition, she took on other challenging roles in films such as "Playing By Heart" and "House Of Myrth" with amazing grace and confidence. Most recently, however, her haunting performance as Lady Deadlock in Charles Dickens' "Bleak House" has earned her international acclaim and hopefully showed the world what a multi-talented performer she is. Given the right opportunity, we could be seeing her at the Oscars in the near future. I can't wait to see what she does next!

What can I say about Ms. Anderson.... I grew up watching her as Dana Scully on "X-Files". She was somewhat of a role model to me when I was younger. She's beautiful and talented, and it breaks my heart to know that she's only had one starring role. I wish her so much good luck and success in the future.

Thinking of her brings out the foolish teenage boy I was and I cannot speak clearly. Truly a stunning woman, with her eyes she could melt me. With all loves in my life, Gillian is the standard to which I compare all women to. Not just her character on the X-Files. It would be a dream cvome true for me to meet her.

For me Gillian Anderson was such a role model while I was growing up watching the x-files.

I wanted to be her (I even tried cutting and dying my hair like her ... so tragic!)

We rarely get to see or hear anything about Gillian in Australia but would love to see her do more TV or movies.

The House of Mirth was classically done and she suited the part perfectly.

This little lady has a ton of talent. We were spoiled or shall I say our idea of Gillian was spoiled by the long running series.



Currently, to watch X-Files in syndication, have to wake myself at 2 am, not my preference, but that's the only way to see this star, and the brilliant series.



However the film and stage work she has down places her talent head and shoulders above most sit-com / soap / series actors.



Would be wonderful to have a greater access to her current or recent work.

As for her work:

Gillian Anderson breathed so much life into her FBI agent character that to most people - no matter what she does - she will remain 'Dana Scully'. This is why some critics pigeonhole her as a simple TV star, though her talents are not restricted to this role. Sure, I also got to “know” and admire her talents on ‘The X-Files’, but it doesn’t mean that’s all she can ever be. Most people forget about her theatre roles, movie appearances or that she gave her voice to ‘Moro’, the wolf-god on the anime ‘Princess Mononoke’.

She IS busy working on other projects, she’s just isn’t in the mainstream. I’m sure that if she wanted to, she could play in Hollywood movies too, but looks like she has other plans. It is not a surprise considering she originally wanted to be a theatre actress and her “detour” with the X-Files kept her from that for much longer than she expected. I believe – after trying to please millions of X-Files fans - she just wants some peace and quiet and a chance to show those who are interested that she’s got more in her than ‘Agent Dana Scully, FBI’.



I wish her good luck in that and gladly follow her trail of work to see what else she has in mind for us.

She did a science show called "Future Fantastic" I really got interested in her then because of the way she came off, so serious and sultry at the same time. She has carried that same air with her to X-Files. She appears to not have any future projects that I'm aware of. I'm just hoping that so does not go to waste.

i love gillian anderson not only becuz she was in my favorite show (The X-Files) but becuz i dont know there is something about her that made me interested in her. i saw the movie The Mighty and she was good in it becuz it was a good movie and after that i started watching the X-Files and i fell in love wit the show like mulder being him typical self and she is basically trying to get mulder to stop makingh the accusations. i heard that she got married which is awesome and i wish her the best, and the accusations that she is a bad mother, i think that that is really messed up, becuz no one could call her a bad mother besides her daughter which i totally doubt. but yet i am no one to say, so i guess we should leav that topic like alone! ok so yeah...no gillian anderson i saw her once in Santa Monica and i could dare to go up 2 her, i dont know y, i just couldnt becuz every star deserves their space and if u just say hi i think that that right there is good enough. i really dont like to ask celebs 4 auto graphs i really wouldnt wanna be asked for one if i was a celeb when u r trying 2 b as normal as possible and i also heard that David d and her dont really get along whas that about???
