Gina Gerson was born on June 10, 1962 in Los Angeles, California. She started acting in a production of Bye Bye Birdie in 1963 at the age of seven. She went to high school with schoolmate Lenny Kravitz and in 2001 played his girlfriend for the video "Again". Later on to later have her first starring role as a dancer in the 1981 Beatlemania where she was uncredited. She was also uncredited in her second role, the 1985 Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Finally her breakthrough role was in the 1986 Pretty in Pink. After years of basic roles, she starred in the movies she would be best known for; as a bisexual in the 1995 Showgirls and as a lesbian in the 1996 Bound. While not ever returning to the spotlight after these two roles, she has appeared in over 90 acting roles. Gina has appeared on Broadway, released a singing CD, and has written a children's book called "Camp Creepy Time".
