Gina: We create our own destiny, and if we don't like our circumstances, there's a way to change [them]. You can't change the past, but you can certainly change how the rest of your life plays out. It's not about playing God, it's about making choices. Life is very similar to a play. Every day we can wake up and write a script. It's all about knowing how to do it.

Gina: From the age of 3 to 13, I was a tomboy, a wild child. A mess. Once, when I was 10, I drove my go-cart on public roads and main streets with no helmet, nothing - to buy $8 worth of candy.

Gina:
Guiding Light has just been a dream come true as far as material to play, support from not only
Ellen Wheeler our Executive Producer but our headwriter David Kreizman. It's just been awesome. I've never felt so welcomed.

Gina: (about co-hosting a webcast for the 2007 People's Choice Awards) I don't know who thought I was able to do this! I felt like a little fish in a big pond.
-
Gina: I'm pretty hard on myself. Anyone who knows me will tell you that, but I think that is coming to an end. I'm aggressive. Not in a bad way, but I'm ambitious and I'm so curious about life, I think being hard on yourself is counterproductive.
-
Gina: I'm a good person, and I have a good message to spread. I may not be a 5-foot-9-inch model, and I may not have the best thighs in the business, but I have to believe in myself.
-
Gina: I feel my most comfortable, most natural when I act. I've always felt that way about it.
-
Gina: (After helping to rebuild homes in Biloxi, MS) It was profound. You realized you don't ever really get to stop what you're doing everyday, but when you get the focus off yourself and on something else, you can help.

Gina:
(at the 2007 People's Choice Awards) We looked so damn cute! I had a black-and-white dress on, and
Rob [Bogue,
Guiding Light] had on a tux. We were just like the dynamic duo out there!

Gina: A year or two into my contract [at
One Life to Live], I looked in the mirror and I looked like a different girl... I had bag under my eyes. My head was spinning most of the time, and it was like my life was out of control.
